Positive pregnancy test?!

Hello,

I came off the pill in August to start TTC, however I was sure I would have issues due to irregular periods in the past. Got my first proper period September 4th, then nothing since. I took a few tests around 2.5 weeks ago, BFNs. I think in the past my cycles were around 7 weeks, meaning I would be due now. I’ve been feeling sick, sore boobs, cramps, thought this meant period... did a test this morning on cycle day 50. I’m so scared that I’m wrong or that the test is.. I got the first response rapid result by accident, meant to get early response. I feel really ill and terrified my period is going to show! One pic is after 30 seconds and the other is after 10 minutes

Hello, yeah this is positive, congratulations!
Rapid response isn't as sensitive as early response so that's good as hormone level must be higher 😊

In fact looking at your test again, do you know which line should be the control line? If it's the lighter line then that's a really high level of hcg!

Thank you!! I can’t accept it at the minute, I need to go and buy more tests but feel so ill today. Also not sure if they’ll still be positive without first wee? Tempted to try clearblue

I believe the dark line is the test line. It looks like a strong positive to me. I would try a digital with weeks indicator

Thank you so much, I’m so shocked!! Just popped out and nowhere local sells the digi ones but got a clearblue and it looks like this... can I start believing it now 😬

Yes definitely positive. Maybe order a digital online just to check how far along you are as your periods are long

I’m starting to believe it now haha! Just confused as it was only a few weeks ago that I got negatives and now they’re strong positives and I’m very dizzy and very nauseas, since the start of this week. Dates are confusing!

Thats a very strong positive! Congratulations! If your last period was 4th Sept you would be 7weeks pregnant.
If you are uncertain though your GP may send you for a dating scan sooner.

Thank you everyone! Just got the digital test and it’s 3+, still not sure why I got negative tests when I was pregnant 2.5 weeks ago! The nausea has got worse and kept me up a lot through the night, I’m having loads of symptoms, so starting to think it’s likely I am close to the 7 week mark. Booked an early scan for next week 😬 fingers crossed all is okay

Yes it's positive! I got my bfp yesterday too !

It could be that you are that far along or could be a multiple pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you
