Chart help! Have I ovulated or not this cycle?

Morning ladies, I need some chart help. I feel like my body has had two attempts at ovulation this cycle, once on CD22 and again on CD31. On CD22 my temps rose just enough for FF to give me dotted cross hairs but not enough to really confirm ovulation happened (my usual post ovulation temperatures are 36.3 to 36.6).

So when my cervix went soft and high, my CM went wet and my sex drive increased a few days later I thought... this is it, im ovulating now. My temperature played ball until this morning. I truly expected my temperature to rise above 36.3 this morning (and if it did for 3 days then FF gives me solid cross hairs) but it dropped!

So... has my body tried to ovulate twice and failed? Or was my body's 1st attempt successful but my temperature has failed to rise/I'm not producing enough progesterone?

For reference this is my 4th cycle off the pill and my cycles tend to be long but so far I have always ovulated. Thanks!

Here is a cycle comparison... orange being this cycle. As you can see my temperature has remained much lower 😕

Hey I'm in a similar situation to you, currently in my 3rd cycle since coming off the pill. This is my first cycle monitoring temp and its been difficult to work out if/when ovulation happened, as temp keeps going up and down.

It looks like you ovulated on CD21/22 but maybe your progesterone has not been high enough, causing it to drop on CD29 + CD32. Of course there could be another reason why your temp has dropped but my guess would be the low progesterone. Sometimes our bodies have odd months where they don't work perfectly, it looks like prior to this cycle, your other cycles went well (with regards to progesterone), which is a good sign. It can take some women a long time for their cycles to go back to normal. I would say this cycle is probably an anomaly and the next one should go back to normal.

This is a tricky one... you haven't had a clear temp shift, your temps are still really low and you haven't had a positive OPK so I would probably call this anovulatory so far?

Thank you both. Yes, I fear anovulatory... as my second LH surge was just as strong as my first (i got all the fan fair) even if I didn't catch a positive OPK.

Either way I feel it is what it is and I suspect I'll either have another attempt at Ov or my period will turn up. The one thing I know for sure is im not pregnant.

Onwards and (hopefully) upwards!
