How long did it take everyone's periods go back to "normal" after coming of birth control? I've been on different types for the past 7 years since having my first child,I came of the pill late March early April,I have had periods since coming off but so long and irregular... thanks Grin

I was very lucky I came off the pill after 14 years and went straight back into regular cycles but everyone is different, I’m sure it will find it’s way back to some regularity soon :)

I had my coil removed in July-period came back within about 6 weeks but my cycles are now very irregular like your mentioned.

@Timetotry123 that's great I wish mine was that fast haha!
@AKC88 I seem to be going 72/62/42 days very strange!i thought I was having one a few weeks ago as I had abit of pink but nothing since! So I'm now thinking my body treated that as a "period" it's frustrating as I can't work out when I'm ovulating and I spend so much money on sticks as I don't now when I am Confused

I was lucky as mine went back to normal 27-28 day cycles straight away after my withdrawal bleed, though before I stopped it I read soooo many threads about it taking weeks/months for a lot of people, so I didn't expect mine to come back so quickly. Hang in there Smile

Sorry I didn't read your post properly I see AF already has come back!! I did see a lot of people mention in these threads about it taking a good few months for their cycles to regulate again.

Jane275 · 20/10/2020 13:43

@Samjane93 oh that give me hope! Thanks Smile yeah I feel like it's going to take ages I've seen online should be regular after 3 months but not for me haha!
