Hi,

So, I had my mirena coil removed on 9th July...since then I have had a 42 day cycle, a 36 day cycle and currently on CD 24 of this cycle and haven't ovulated yet.

What are other people' experiences of irregular cycles after Mirena? How long before you went back to normal? Or is this how my cycles will be now?

As if a 28 day cycle doesn't feel long enough...these added days are driving me crazy!

Hi @AKC88! I had mine out in July. Had nothing at all (not even withdrawal bleed) until 2/8. Then I had very very light AF next month. So last month I took soy isoflavones which are meant to help irregular cycles etc and that helped me to ovulate earlier in my cycle (CD14 instead of 20) and I got more of a normal AF rather than light. Just waiting on AF due in next 2 days. I do my bbt to see if I ovulate and I think I am but it can all take a little while to settle I think. I’d had mine in and off for 15 years though so think my body’s in shock. And I’m 38 so on the old side!
