AF should have arrived Thursday eeek

Hi

I have been trying for over a year and have had my first consultation with the fertility clinic last week. AF was due Thursday and hasn’t showed up and I haven’t had my usual pre af spotting. I am terrified to test I don’t know why I think I don’t want to be disappointed. Has anyone else felt like this. I was think of waiting until I’m a week late would this cause any harm if it were to be a bfp how quickly should you get in touch with your doctor if I were to be pregnant what is the first steps?

Oh there is quite a few threads where people are late and getting bfn. Do you think it’s possible to have regular cycles then just get one that goes out of sync. Every time I go to the toilet I expect to see I’ve started that’s how it feels.

The opposite of a serial POAS lol, I just wanted to get by af due date by a few days/week. I’m getting cramps throughout the day everyday so to me it still feels like I could get my period although it’s never late and I always get spotting. It’s like you want something for so long so you just don’t want anything to go wrong either.. by the end of the week I will update nothing worse than not finding out the outcome

I was in your position at the weekend AF due to start on Fri but it didn't, mum was staying the weekend so didn't really want to test with her around. My DD is 19 months and was the result of IVF after 5 years TTC so I was convinced I probably wasn't pregnant but was kind of enjoying the little hope bubble of my schrodingers pregnancy. Anyway curiosity got the better of me and I tested Sun evening but flooded the stick so no result but on Mon morning still no AF so I cracked out the big guns and found my old TTC pee cup (I'm aware this is rank but I'll not be the only one who has one and it was washed and bleached after every use) and a cheapie, a FRER and a digital later I accepted that stranger things do happen and for the first time ever I had a BFP not aided by medical science. I've now moved on to worrying about other things other than if to test or not but hey ho such is life. Fingers crossed you end up in my boat

Posting my test pic not just because I like looking at it as it still doesn't seem real but so you can see the difference in the lines, you really do get what you pay for as the cheapie is barely visible but there's no mistaking the result on the others.

Oh really, I just feel aches in my stomach constantly not painful but light cramping sometimes the odd shooting pain.

Same here! a few cramps etc. Did Frer but still Negative. 8 days late now.
