Feeling positive but....

So we've been ttc for 10 months now. This month we've done literally everything we can and I'm actually feeling quite hopeful. The reason for this is that I've had very sore nipples for 11 days now which isn't usual for me and I've had the odd quesey moment from time to time. The problem is, I'm due on today and although no period has showed up, also I've had a bfn :( My temp has been high continuously since ovulation so everything seems to be going the way it should but surely by now I should have a bfp considering my symptoms if I were pregnant? Has anybody else had this but turned out to be pregnant? I'm going to try and not test now until Wednesday.

My sisters period was late, testing every week for 4 weeks until she got her positive and infact she had been pregnant the whole time and was 8 weeks by the time she got her positive! Maybe test again in a couple of days :)

Thanks Rachel, that gives me a bit of hope. My goodness though, I hope I don't have to wait that long! 😆 x

Which tests are you using? Some of them aren't very sensitive. I've always found that FRER will show a very faint line as much as 4 or 5 days before I'm due, but clear blue digital will give me negatives until I'm about 3 days late

I've used some cheapie ebay tests up until today and they were negative but today I used a FRER and that was also negative! 😔

I know you’re temping but any chance you ovulated later?

Steffi88 · 18/10/2020 16:45

I don't think I ovulate late, I have quite a long cycle and am CD 33 now and it's never been longer than 34 days before.
I guess time will tell. I'm just trying not to get my hopes too high.

Do a FRER with first morning urine, fingers crossed for you!

It's more common than women realise to skip a period one month even if you are very regular normally. It is also possible that you ovulated later and the egg implanted later.
