Haha congratulations! Now do 20 more tests before you fully believe what you’re seeing ;)

shellby28 · 17/10/2020 16:52

Congratulations!! I did a test (or 2!) a day for about 3 weeks before I actually believed it. Happy and healthy 9 months wishes to you!

Congratulations!

Feel whatever you need to feel. Give it some time to sink in then tell the father once you're ready. When myself and DH found out I was pregnant he spend most of the following hour switching between saying the word 'No' and swearing under his breath. DS was a wanted and planned baby but we were still pretty shocked when it actually happened.

In terms of what you need to do, if you're in the UK there's an NHS page...

www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/nhs-pregnancy-journey/

Refer yourself to your local midwives and start taking Folic acid and Vitamin D if you aren't already.

I'd also highly recommend joining a birth club for your due date month. It's really nice to go through pregnancy at the same time as others.

Congratulations again 🎉🎉
