Did Aspirin do this?

I’m currently on day 36 of my cycle. No bfp and no period. My cycles are normally 32/33 days.

The only thing I did differently was start low dose aspirin...

Anyone have a similar experience?

Shame nobody replied, anyways AF arrived today so I’m relieved, for what it’s worth aspirin may have affected my cycle as never been this late before/

No idea but 75mg of aspirin a day was the only way to stop me miscarrying for the sixth time so worth it for me!

@Bellesavage - I intend to use it if I ever get another BFP but I won’t use it otherwise. I was conflicted if I should use it while we’re TTC or if I get a BFP x

@CalmDown7 Asprin thins your blood so if anything it would make you bleed. I started 150mg of Asprin daily 2 weeks ago and it made my AF come a couple of days early. Might be the stress of TTC that is affecting your cycle as I has mine occasionally. If you're using it to prevent mc then take the Asprin daily 🙃

@MummyT13 - thanks for your response. Should I take the aspirin even though I’m not pregnant? Even through ovulation etc? x

@MummyT13 - I ask because I’d read somewhere it can affect implantation x

@CalmDown7 have you had your bloods tested yet? 75mg of Asprin wouldn't thin your blood enough to prevent implantation as it's quite a thick lining. I've been put on 150mg every night because my blood is prone to clotting (clots with AF etc) 75mg is enough to loosen it but not enough for the lining to fall away. The idea behind taking Asprin daily prior to conception is that it can help implantation and help the placenta to grow and attach and make the blood flow through easier. Quite a few women say it helps them and doctors say it will either help or not have any affect at all. Obviously it helps if you have had your blood coagulation count done (takes around 4 weeks) but if you're taking 75mg then it's do no harm to take it everyday. Unless you have runny blood anyway in which case don't touch it. X
