Definite peak! Have you been missing it previously because of not testing frequently enough do you think?

xoxochellexoxo · 16/10/2020 10:22

@Juno231 yes i think so, i really dont test as much as i should and some months just didnt bother so never knew if we were dtd when we should although have been trying every 2-3 days throughtout cycle hasnt seemed to work for us

My peak lasts about 15 hours or so. It goes like this: Negative OPK AM - Positive OPK PM - Positive OPK AM - Negative OPK PM. By the time I get the second positive the morning after the first, my temp has already gone up. So I think I ovulate very shortly after the positive in the evening but my levels don't drop off abruptly. There are some research papers on Google Scholar about patterns and duration of LH surge that are quite enlightening, if you're in an academic mood! Grin Best of luck!

Rachel93x · 17/10/2020 11:19

I have positives for a couple of days each month - some women have 3 days of positives xx

Rachel93x · 17/10/2020 11:23

Yeah I just checked! I had positives CD18-21 and did fall pregnant that cycle but ended in CP but my dr said that many days of positives isn't a problem :)

I'm the same, it's only my 3rd month using them and I really stressed myself out last month as I seem to get darker ones around CD10, which then fade out until CD18 and I thought what's happening 😂

CalmDown7 · 17/10/2020 12:04

Yeah definitely your peak, I get two days of positives normally. No idea when I actually ovulate as I don’t temp x

xoxochellexoxo · 17/10/2020 12:57

Iv been ttc for 13 cycles but im very laid back about the opk testing, i start them then get bored of not seeing it get dark so i end up stopping lol, my partner struggles to dtd every day so i try not to pressure him, we dts thursday night and this morning we try for every 2-3 days throughtout but with this being my first time getting a really really dark opk i had hoped we could every day, hopefully what we have managed will cover it
