No period In 8 weeks

NO periodically 8 weeks!!!
I stopped my pill sunday 20th sep had a bit of blood when i went toilet the Wednesday. Had o period since 19th august! 2 neg tests, I'm almost positive I ovulated last weekend.... gettin period like pains like I'd get before a period lots of cramp in abdominal and back, when is the earliest I can do a test, if I dont come on a period by next week...

It can take a while for periods to return to normal after stopping contraception. If you did ovulate, it would usually be between 10-16 days after that you’ll get your period (in most cases anyhow).
I wouldn’t worry too much at the moment. It took 15 weeks for me to get a period after coming off contraception.

It's so confusing isnt it. I came of my pill to have my little boy and dont remember it being this long till I had a period, but I suppose things take time, I just cant wait to ge this period so I know where I am.

This has given me comfort as I'm in a similar boat, CD 52 post pill and nothing.

I've been freaking myself out googling post pill amenorrhea stats and it seems post 3 months, the likelihood of not having a period for a long stretch is the same post pill as it is for the general population - suggesting that there might be an underlying problem.

But then some doctors believe it is the pill to blame! It's hard not to count down the days to the 3 month mark and panic.

I'd love to hear more stories of people going over that time but then getting their period and starting to regulate

It took me 141 days to have a period after coming off the pill. Then cycle 2 I ovulated CD33 and found out I was pregnant CD49. So mine never got back to regular but it still worked just fine.

In a few months, if things are still irregular, theres a group called Post Pill TTC party on this topic who are lovely and helpful

It's so weird isnt it. I came of my pill when I tc my little boy, 2 months of being off it I was pregnant, I dont remember ever waiting so long for a period. Its driving me mad hahha. But everythin will happen when it wants to I suppose. I have ovulated last weekend well I had all the signs an symptoms so I'm positive I did but time will tell I suppose.
