@Vil10 ooh I'm sure he does! I didn't even know my husband when he was 30 😂 think he was 31 when we met. Think I told him early doors we'd get married, and I was right yippee 😂 just a shame we've had trouble with fertility since but I'm sure we'll get through it 😊

Kirky658 · 23/10/2020 14:21

@Vil10 I'm not sure re the heavy periods as I was 'lucky' in that I didn't really suffer! But from others I have spoken to it was flooding pads within an hour or so...

The sex pain you hit the nail on the heard really. For me it's like that or like a knife scraping my insides. The IBS side of things can be caused by endo being on the uterosacral ligaments, which hold the womb in place, which was what caused my problems and caused the sex pain as they're so close to the cervix too.

Unfortunately no blood tests or hormone tests can detect endo. The only way to definitely diagnose it is by a laparoscopy surgery which is why you're often fobbed off. I would have a look at the Endo UK website as well that's quite a good source of info.

Don't get me wrong - I am no expert on endo by any means, but the educating myself I had to do to get the right diagnosis meant I learned so much about it! Xx 😊

LBee2020 · 23/10/2020 14:51

@laceymermaid. I had cramps for about 7 days before my BFP on Wednesday so it good be a good sign for you. Fingers crossed!

LaceyMermaid · 23/10/2020 15:19

@LBee2020 thanks trying not to get my hopes up but the cramping has been so bad much worse than normal AF!

NestinginNL · 23/10/2020 17:06

@Kirky658 I know that Facebook group! It’s where I found my specialist for my lap too (also in January). @Vil10 you should join and go through some of the files, see if any of it resonates with you, there’s so much useful stuff. It’s called Nancy’s Nook ☺️

I missed replying to the comments about dogs and sex, was it @Hrps mentioning it? 🤔 but anyway, I’m so glad to be home coming into my fertile window. If anyone wants a romantic week away do NOT hire a camper van and add in a dog who wants to sleep on you all the time, and a puppy with diarrhoea. It’s not a recipe for 🍆 🍆 . Both a bit sleep deprived and need to start the bonkfest soon 😣

On another note I had a consultation over Skype with a fertility specialist at the nearest clinic today, was referred a few months ago to check on my tubes that tested as being blocked but may not be, and she’s getting me in for bloods to check thyroid etc and then a hysteroscopy HSG thingy on my next cycle 🎉 looking forwards to finally knowing for sure!

And here’s a picture of Morse in a backpack. Because he was too small for a lot of the walks we did while away 😅

@NestinginNL omg that puppy is adorable! Agreed they are not helpful for getting it on though 😂🐶

The Facebook group I was involved with was called Endometriosis Guidance and Information Resource UK. Get yourself on that one too @Vil10 ❤️

Chlo2701 · 23/10/2020 17:48

@lucyrp how's your RHR looking today? Sorry for the late reply hun, I had the girls round mine last night so didn't get chance to catch up properly, so I've just finished reading through lots of comments on here🙈 i should be ovulating tomorrow or Sunday 🤞🏻 so need to get lots of bonking in this wknd🤣 I'm hoping I'll get solid smiley on my CB digital tomorrow 🤞🏻 I'm nearly 36, been trying for about 17 months now. I did fall pregnant end of August but lost it at 5wks. I'm lucky enough though to have 2 kids already, both boys, they will be 11 & 15 next month! Didn't time that very well did I?! Having 2 birthdays in November just before Christmas 🤦‍♀️🤣 currently sat on the sofa having a gin, but me & OH are going to pop to the pub in abit & have a couple ciders. Drink till it's pink right?!😉 I'm so over this TTC malarkey, what will be will be for me. I've thrown myself back into exercise to take my mind off it all, as when I did that the other month after not doing any exercise through lockdown is when I got my BFP! I'm taking a fair few supplements these last 4/5 months aswel.... folic acid, VitD, VitC, Coq10 & DHA🙈 it's bloody expensive!!

Franklydear · 23/10/2020 17:48

@Vil10 I have a 10 yo D's
Sex ed is atrocious, and so is the knowledge of gps

Franklydear · 23/10/2020 17:55

@NestinginNL that pic is adorable

lucyrp · 23/10/2020 17:56

@Chlo2701 well here's my rhr chart not looking good at all 😂 its all over the place as is my bbt chart😂 I'm out at the moment but I'll reply properly when I get home. Wish we could go to the pub were in lockdown in precisely 4 minutes 😭

Franklydear · 23/10/2020 18:03

@lucyrp can you knock a pint in 3 min?🤟😆

Juno231 · 23/10/2020 18:11

Gah TWW is messing with my head this evening. One second I go for a wee and get lots of watery CM on my tissue, so obv I get a bit excited but also decide to check CP - which is low and firm and brings my mood back down again. Then I spend the next five minutes browsing CP and BFP and come to the conclusion that it's not reliable - but I knew that in the first place?!

I think I'm just already getting sad about another BFN and it's all so tough to deal with :(

OP posts:
lucyrp · 23/10/2020 18:39

@Franklydear of course 🤣🤣

Chlo2701 · 23/10/2020 18:40

Awww @Juno231 I completely sympathise with you love, it's just shit isn't it! I've never done all the cervix checking as I don't have a clue what to feel for, but even I know that you can't go by that. How many days until AF is supposedly due for you? I'm sure you're another one of us that's been trying for a long time aren't you?
@lucyrp ahhh shit yea! I keep forgetting you're in Wales!! You're on nearly a 3wk lockdown aren't you!😣 I reckon give it a few more weeks & England will be going in lockdown! My OH owns a club & he's had to turn it into a bar, so spent thousands doing that, getting leather sofas & table & chairs put in, then Boris the dickhead then said pubs & bars had to close at 10!!! So now he's has to open at 5/6 til 10, & it's just not cutting it! Hospitality are the ones being penalised & suffering soooo bad! Anyway that's my little rant over!
Yeah I'll be honest your RHR really is all over the place🤨 didn't you say that you think you might have PCOS?

lucyrp · 23/10/2020 18:49

@Chlo2701 yeah we are ! I work in hospitality too but our companies been really good and paid us full whack the whole way through the first lockdown so fingers crossed they'll still do it this time. That's awful! Well I don't really have any symptoms of anything that mean much at all so honestly no clue what's wrong with me which if I'm honest makes it even worse as I'd like to have some idea 🤣😭 the only thing I had this cycle but haven't had any other is spotting mid cycle from day 20 to day 26 which was literally just when I went to the loo in the morning and it was brown 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm CD48 today and I had my period this time last cycle so it's not looking good 😫

2020mission · 23/10/2020 19:00

@Juno231 that is so annoying! Really messes with you when these things happen.

I'm still spotting 🙄 I spotted for 2 days at my usual ovulation time (CD12-CD13) then CD15, CD17 and today at CD18. I don't think it's implantation though as it's so sporadic. I think I must have fibroids or something causing them? The 2 months I had chemical pregnancies I had absolutely no spotting all cycle so it's never a good sign. Long wait for AF due on the 2nd November for me 👎🏻

Franklydear · 23/10/2020 19:12

@Chlo2701 hospitality has definitely been thrown to the pit, so much disregard for so many people
@Juno231 sending you good karma, and serenity, I'll need it back at some point so don't lose it

Newbie0818 · 23/10/2020 19:44

@AmesK oh I spot too and then have a couple days, then af haha! My bleeding is so annoying 😒

@Kirky658 totally understand the fobbing off part, pcos is another one of those types of invisible illnesses that gps don't know much about. All of these things are so frustrating as they don't realise how much research is out there and how much it can affect you every day!

And thank you so much for sharing! I must say I can recognise a lot of those, just not the pain during sex or migraines/ nausea. I suppose I'll find out sooner or later, but like you, I was put on contraceptives (to help with my skin) and I just really hope that hasn't done any lasting damage if I do have endo too :(

@Juno231 that poor girl :( so painful. There's so much stuff on Instagram that I've learnt about all these issues with fertility, it's really helped me a lot.

@Vil10 don't feel silly, I used to say the same and it pushed me so that now I finally have a diagnosis. Obviously I hope you don't have either of them, but lots of people with pcos and endo also have regular cycles too.

On a positive note, I'm finally on half term and ssoooooooo ready for it 🥳 @LaceyMermaid Im sure you can relate haha

Florence13 · 23/10/2020 19:48

@Juno231 sorry to hear your feeling this way hun, but if it’s any consolation also completely in the same boat. Hence being more of an observer and not posting on mumsnet quite so much recently. I think the TWW almost seems to get harder and the amount of people that advise you to just relax and forget about TTC but it’s literally all I can think about.

lucyrp · 23/10/2020 19:53

Right I've had enough, I think I'm going to start taking seven seas ttc pills. Speak to a girl who's been taking them for 6 weeks and she's pregnant already! Lots of ladies have said they help their cycles regulate or shorten and I haven't really got anything to lose have i ?

Katao · 23/10/2020 19:59

@Juno231 its it's all such guess work and mind games isn't it! Will you test in the morning or are you trying to hold out a bit longer?

Katao · 23/10/2020 20:03

@lucyrp nothing to lose! I've been meaning to buy some too

lucyrp · 23/10/2020 20:04

@Katao they're only £3.62 for a months worth!

Florence13 · 23/10/2020 20:06

@lucyrp yes I’ve heard lots of women talk about getting pregnant very quickly with those can’t do any harm

LaceyMermaid · 23/10/2020 20:08

@Newbie0818 I definitely hear you on that one!
@Juno231 TWW is the worst! Can’t even tell you off like you normally do as you’re 9dpo right? Looks like I’m having an extending TWW how lovely! No AF yet can’t think why my luteal phase has suddenly extended!
