@LaceyMermaid thanks. I've found a few helpful articles since, think I must have been searching poorly the ladt day i tried this! I'm getting a bit put off by seeing it linked to breast cancer risk 😬 @Missgoldilocks have also seen it's not advisable if you have regular periods. Hope your cycle settles again soon.

LaceyMermaid · 21/10/2020 14:02

Yes @Katao I don’t think I’ll take them for long. Think I’ll do one more month then stop and see what my cycle does without them. My cycle was quite regular but late ovulating and I was also getting very light periods that were barely there. AF was far more normal last month so I hope it helped my cycle kick start itself after BC.

Katao · 21/10/2020 14:09

@LaceyMermaid I'm such a cautious person! They do sound like they would help because I'm the same, irregular cycles, light periods and not even confident I'm ovulating every cycle but then I've been referred to fertility clinic so I don't think I'll go self medicating now 😬

LaceyMermaid · 21/10/2020 14:12

@Katao yes I think if you’re waiting for a fertility clinic referral you shouldn’t! Don’t want to get in trouble! I should probably be more cautious but I know I can’t get any testing done etc as I already have kids so I’m will to try anything really!! 🤣

LBee2020 · 21/10/2020 14:15

Hi ladies. I just wanted to pop on and let you know that I finally got the courage to test today and got a beautiful BFP on a CB test. Hopefully it is a strong and sticky little bean. Eeeek.

Skip86 · 21/10/2020 14:19

@Franklydear when I lived in London I found roo at a butcher in the borough markets, for like a £million/kilo!!

@lucyrp love seeing your charts so don't stress girly! I only don't comment on them because I have noooo idea about bbt or rhr!

@Minster2012 assuming UK is the same, but we have no Covid here and are still not allowed out anywhere if any signs of a cold - surely a great excuse to stay on the couch for the day?!

Aaah @Vil10 @LaceyMermaid @Kirky658 booo to af 😤
@LaceyMermaid if you have a regular cycle and know your rough ov symptoms I'd 100% recommend not tracking, personally.

lucyrp · 21/10/2020 14:22

@Skip86 aww thanks. Just trying to figure it out myself 🤣 also uk is most definitely not the same as in not allowed out if any signs of a cold. I've had a cold for the last 2 weeks and been at work 5/6 days each week 😂

Kirky658 · 21/10/2020 14:23

@LBee2020 omg congrats!!!! Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy ❤️

LaceyMermaid · 21/10/2020 14:24

Thanks @Skip86 I’m going to do that. Sounds like Australia are far more on it than here... you can defo go out with cold symptoms I’ve got children in my class with temps not even getting tested then just coming back in again! Probably why you’ve got no covid and we have lots!!
@LBee2020 congrats! How long were you trying and did you do anything different this month?

lucyrp · 21/10/2020 14:28

@LBee2020 congrats !

LBee2020 · 21/10/2020 14:35

Thank you! It was our third cycle TTC #1 so I know that is very short by usual standards and that we were extremely lucky. I cant say that we did anything particularly special. I used Flo and CM to identify ovulation days and we dtd every other day during FW. I'm hoping to hang around with you guys for a while longer as I love your chat and feel very invested in all of your journeys!

Katao · 21/10/2020 14:50

Aw @LBee2020! Congratulations!! You give us hope 😃
@lucyrp like @Skip86 said, love seeing the charts. I'm interested in it but just haven't delved into that side of things so it's nice to see different charts and get a bit familiar with it all.

2alreadywantanother · 21/10/2020 15:44

Oh wow @lbee2020. That's fantastic. Hopefully we will see plenty in the coming days.

Ladies I have been reading and by the time I get through all I forget who I was gona reply to so apologies. And I'm checking in every few hrs. It's such a busy group which is fantastic. With a fantastic bunch. Xx

Missgoldilocks · 21/10/2020 15:59

@LBee2020 congratulations!! Happy and healthy 9 months :) xxx

@katao @laceymermaid yeah someone told me that it takes 3 months for your cycles to settle down so I'm going to give it another month, if they're still wacky I might try take it earlier one month to see if it regulates again. Im cd29 today and it hasn't come yet, this is the day it should come but last month it came cd32

Kirky658 · 21/10/2020 16:00

@2alreadywantanother I am the exact same, loving seeing everyone's stories and it's keeping me sane! ❤️

2alreadywantanother · 21/10/2020 16:04

@kirky658 I do feel bad. Seeing some with replies tagging everyone lol

LaceyMermaid · 21/10/2020 16:14

@Missgoldilocks how much did you take? I’m toying with the idea of doing 160mg days 3-7 next cycle

Missgoldilocks · 21/10/2020 16:52

@LaceyMermaid I did 80 80 80 120 80 because I was getting severe headaches with it even though I took it in the evening days 3-7, so when I went up to 120 I was like no and went back to 80 lol. So if my cycles are still messed uo in a month or so, shall I try 2-6? I'm just hoping they regulate again :( I didn't get a positive opk this month so have no idea if I even ovulated and this whole time I've never not had a positive opk And that's the month AFTER the isoflavones? So weird
Maybe you should try the 160 but if they've done the job of bringing your ovulation forward maybe don't mess too much with it?

LaceyMermaid · 21/10/2020 16:56

@Missgoldilocks ah yes they can give headaches I’ve heard. I take mine before bed and have been ok. Good point about no messing too much with it - they just didn’t get me pregnant god damn it!
Maybe you should do 80 a day 2-6? Very strange you didn’t get an opk but then I had one month where I didn’t and bbt still showed I did ovulate so you may have just missed the peak somehow

Juno231 · 21/10/2020 17:06

@LBee2020 oh my goodness congrats! Tell us a recap of your story please, for a morale booster Grin. I need to check my stats but I reckon that makes the 5th BFP this month although sadly one was a CP. We've beaten the miserable September record!

7DPO here. My temp shot back up this morning and I've had AF like cramps on and off today. Can't tell if they're TWW or food related though lol. If the former then it's interesting as I never get pre AF cramps.

OP posts:
notyetamumbuttrying · 21/10/2020 17:32

@Juno231 could be cramping due to implantation if you don't usually get it before AF.

@LBee2020 congratulations 🥳

So had my smear yesterday and wiped brown CM today. Think I have a sensitive uterus! I could feel her scraping which I presume is normal for others too?!

Juno231 · 21/10/2020 17:39

@notyetamumbuttrying ha yes but I think it's safest to assume it's not 🤣. Just another symptom to mess with my head.

Minster2012 · 21/10/2020 17:40

@blodyn91 boo to lockdown buggering fun auction house plans that sucks. Surely they have to slightly change the rules knowing that it means they might lose bids?

@Newbie0818 still got everything crossed then for you if no AF 🤞🏻🤞🏻🥰

@Vil10 with you on the heavy period. Mines only just stopped and was in full flow since Friday, but just think, that's a good lining 🤷‍♀️

@Kirky658 as others have said you ain't out!

@Katao def don't take anything extra if you are awaiting fertility testing hun, they don't like you to be on "weird stuff!"

@Skip86 love your thinking on the cold front but DS would never leave the house then for constantly steaming toddler nose (which would kill me again) however, doesn't Australia basically have no Covid cases now??? Lessons to be learnt maybe!!

@LBee2020 OMG congratulations!! You sky one there!! 🥰🙌🏻🥳🥳😘amazing!! Yaayyyy hopefully someone to kick off the bus!!!! (Obviously whoever you are ready don't worry!) 🥰yay for October! And time for more!

@Juno231 food related....what have you eaten?!!!

I've been quiet today.... the lovely fun lady I chat with from the IVF thread I was on in feb who transferred same day as me so due same day & had good banter & a toddler & a scare same as me sent me a WhatsApp earlier saying she's given birth to a girl on Monday. She did it very sensitively, we've been messaging all through lockdown. I'm so happy for her same as I would be for you guys but I said of course it makes me sad too especially as my scare ended badly & hers ended well but that's life. She knows we've tried again & one left so like you guys she's there to support. Just a bit sad to see her growing where I should have been too. BUT guys, the up side is that WE WILL GET THERE AND HAVE THAT FRIENDSHIP /KINSHIP TOO.

🥰❤️🌈😘

Love n hugs to all

Juno231 · 21/10/2020 17:41

@notyetamumbuttrying it's normal to spot after a smear as they sometimes draw blood when scraping. I've had like six smears and only felt the scrape once or twice so I think it has to do with how good they are at it...

Kirky658 · 21/10/2020 17:44

@notyetamumbuttrying I bled after my first smear a couple of years ago and could feel the scraping... If I hadn't coped with endometriosis for years it would have put me off for life!
