@clolo @notyetamumbuttrying Sorry I missed it but are we talking varicose veins on OH? My ill friend I mentioned yesterday - her OH has them and they're these big worm looking veins that cause him a lot of pain. So your OH's ones must be very mild in comparison so I hope that means they'll be easy to sort out!

This friend of mine reminds me of how lucky I am really - she's had two kidney surgeries this year already, is in chronic pain and found out last month she's had a brain aneurysm. At this rate she fears her condition will mean she dies before she's 50 and she's definitely too ill to have kids :(

@Juno231 Eleanor Roosevelt has a very good saying ‘ a woman is like a tea bag, you don’t know how strong it is until you put it in hot water’ sadly, so many of us find out.

@Franklydear I have two days in now then 5 off then I'm back in. No doubt during lockdown when we'll be closed to answer phones and do work on the computer .. yay

@Vil10 oh no 😩😩 that's so mean of your rhr, I keep feeling like af is coming today you know the feeling when you have to keep going to the toilet to check that's what in like today. Although my rhr has shot uo again tofay so far so not sure what to think.

I had a +ve OPK yesterday so hoping my temp rises soon!

I read a (probably fake) news thing the other day that said women used to ovulate when they orgasms, and we evolved to ovulate monthly. Got me thinking, either we didn't orgasm enough during sex and therefore evolved to do it on our own for fear of the human race fading into extinction... or women were wasting their limited egg supply with masturbation 😂😂

@Bellsb1 I'm pretty sure one of this groups highly scientific guiding principles is that women who are TTC must never orgasm lest the pleasure shake the sperm into ineffectiveness ....or something along those lines

@Vil10 it's pretty amaze! I'm shit at cooking and he's pretty good so happy for him to handle that. Sorry to hear you're out hun, glad you feel ok though.
@Newbie0818 I was like that! When are you gonna get your bloods booked in? SA's take about two weeks for results. Ours took 3 weeks as our gp handling it left and no one followed up!

@clolo oh I see. I read you can get a dull ache and I asked Dh if he ever felt that and he said sometimes 🤔 time will tell then! I hope his apt comes through soon! I've got my smear tomorrow, not even fazed now after having that transvaginal scan the other week.
@Juno231 yeah we are. I'm just speculating about mine though. He's got an apt 28th Oct so I'm just wondering whether he has them as a possible explanation for the poor sperm quality. Your poor friend, hope she gets through this! Hope you're ok.

@Minster2012 sorry you felt unsupported re your fb post. Personally not a big social media person so I would feel uncomfortable interacting that way with a family member if it was the first I learned of their situation but I would reach out in person or by private message so hopefully some responses in other ways over the next while x

There seems to have been a lot of af and bfns 😭 so sorry to all who are out. @Vil10 honestly shocked, thought you were a sure thing. So sorry.

As for me I am being referred to the fertility clinic so just waiting for that I guess and am giving myself a bit of a ttc break so I don't crack up! That's why I haven't been on here the last few days. Just needed a break. So don't know what cd I am and not doing opks just dtd and leaving it to faith this month 😀 (whilst also obviously hoping this is the key to success 😂🤞)

@Katao I feel the same the thread is filling quickly and I can't keep up 😆 although it's great to see more people join (except for those that we recognise and hoped would stay on the grad bus)! It definitely feels sad here as the bus gets empty.

@Vil10 sorry AF arrived but I still feel confident for you as we know it's normal to take up to a year, as annoying as that is.

I'm only just at the start of the 2WW (I think) no OPKs or any type of tracking this month and only had some action at the weekend as we usually do, so it's been the most relaxed approach yet. Don't even feel like we are trying anymore 😂

@Franklydear have faith!! Af hasn't turned up for you yet!

@Juno231 I know!! It did that last time too, only dropped the night of the day af started! How cruel!! I told OH and he said hopefully choosing a new front door will cheer me up, it sounds so sad but I've been looking forward to getting a new front door for ages😂

@lucyrp isn't it!! It was teasing me the whole time!! You're definitely still in for a chance!! So many people say they felt like af was coming and then they had their BFP!! I'm excited for you!

@notyetamumbuttrying that's a dream being cooked for every night😂 I've started using the slow cooker again now it's got colder and that makes it so much easier not having to cook after work!

@Vil10 I know, I feel very lucky! I prob cook twice a week at max and that's just pasta or something thrown in the oven 😂 slow cookers are great aren't they! Tastier outcome usual too 😋

So after posting that I of course thought hmm what cd am I? And had to check and that led to doing a random opk 😂there really is no off switch is there 🙈

@Runnergirl1 oh no, it’s just many short cycles of disappointment over 11months... there’s only so much a girl can take, I rather see af at this point, mainly because I think it won’t happen

@vil10 hahaha I love your OH's thinking! What kind of front door are you thinking? composite, upc, wooden? traditional, modern? tell us all! (can you tell I will need to change mine too at some point?)

@notyetamumbuttrying ah well that would be useful if it was something straight forward they could fix on your OH! Mine's SA is on the 27th so I guess there's gonna be plenty of swimmer chat in the thread around that time.

Hey everyone hope you don't mind me joining! We're TTC baby number 2, been trying since March, currently on CD 24 and I've been getting brown spotting for the last 3 days. I know it's AF rearing her head but I don't know why it's happening so early, I normally get brown discharge/blood (sorry) about 2/3 days before full flow but 8 days before is just baffling me! Does it seem normal? Anyway, good luck to everyone else and congrats to those with BFP's! X

@hannahbanana91 welcome! How many DPO are you - it could be implantation bleeding maybe?

@Franklydear ha I'm still the opposite I think. I test early enough that the BFN doesn't make me sad cause I can blame it on being early - but then with every BFN I sort of slowly get to the realisation that it's another failed cycle - instead of getting the shock of AF appearing when I had already convinced myself I must be preggers.

I wish AF would bloody hurry up and arrive already instead of torturing me a week beforehand! Constant cramps and feeling like I’m about to come on any minute which is upsetting because it means no BFP AND that I have another 4 days of this before the witch actually arrives. Anyone ever get fed up of this mindfuck? (Excuse my language :p) xx
