@Vil10 haha 🤣 luckily mine always cooks and washes up. I do the cleaning and laundry so it's a nice split in our household.
@Newbie0818 they definitely will! I was so ready for ours as I just knew something was up! Tbh I thought it was me and it wasn't. So just prepare yourself for both, and also for them to say all is fine. It's all a massive headfuck!!

@notyetamumbuttrying that sounds a dream!! I do the cooking, cleaning and washing up😂 he occasionally puts a wash on but I'd rather do the cooking and cleaning myself because I'm a bit of a control freak😂

Need to vent somewhere so here is the place. Don't know if my mood is related to AF arriving yesterday and making me a grumpier bitch than usual but aaargh! No idea what is wrong with me today. Seen my arse with OH over small shit. He works like a machine (80 odd hours a week sometimes) and has a bad habit of falling asleep on the sofa, usually doesn't bother me but Friday AND Saturday night is a bit much especially as he wasn't working this weekend (rare)! I'll add to the weekend off thing that in an even rarer occurrence this full weekend off coincided with my dd being with her dad.... did we do anything, did we fuck! Not even out for a walk! Started watching the fall on Saturday night and it was really good, he started dozing off, I said bed (way after midnight) went brushed my teeth as he said he'd be a minute. No sign but could still hear the tv. Threw his pillows off the bed and slammed the bedroom door. Bastard only went and carried on watching it! Not sure he even slept as I got up and he was ploughing through season 3. Haven't said a word to each other today 🙄 Fuming over something that really shouldn't bother me so much but he does it and it's so bloody inconsiderate! So I went full petty, changed the bed and his pillows have been left on the side. He can stay on the sofa tonight too! Way I feel now I'll still be raging at him by the time ovulation comes around 😤
Sorry for the rant! It just feels so much better to write it out!
P.s any tips to make me less of a grumpy/psycho bitch??!!

@Franklydear thank you, think that's half my problem, I'm stubborn/hold a grudge and he doesn't see anything wrong with being totally inconsiderate with wee things because as he always says "it wouldn't bother me" 🤬

@Gem176 Littally reading this I could have wrote it!!! My partner same works a lot but asleep on sofa all time sooooo annoying especially when I have been at home with baby all day and in need of adult convo!! How long have you been ttc and what baby number is it?! AF came for me today and I have been vile! I've just stomped to bed after day 2 of trying to watch mulan with him failing to stay awake both times!!!

@Minster2012 also carrying on from yesterday (sorry I got caught up writing about myself 😏), but I think you are amazing for everything you've been through, and those conversations you had with OH and your friend about planning the surrogacy must've been so darn difficult. I am in awe. Such a unique and challenging experience, and I’m just so so glad you got your gorge DS from it, totally worth it!

Well on the adventurous food front, I've travelled a lot in Asia so I don't even know where to start?! Fetal duck eggs in Vietnam (don't even ask 🤢), chicken feet in Malaysia, cockroaches on sticks in Loas (I lie, I didn't eat those but the dude next to me on the bus was noshing out on them).
It's funny, I don't count kangaroo as weird - we eat it probably once a fortnight! Compared to beef it's higher in iron, lower in fat, far more sustainable, and is cheaper! And delicious!!

@Gem176 you're not being a psycho bitch! I would be fuming at that too, and would have done the same thing with the bed!! (Oh wait, does that just make me a psycho bitch as well? 🤔).
My hubby works late and will come home just before I'm going to bed. Even though I'm sad to be going to bed alone, I usually leave him to sit and unwind on the couch as long as he needs. However on occasion I will say 'hey I understand you need your chill time, but just for tonight I would love you to come to bed with me', and he will. Gentle communication?

@lastbany they just make you sooo mad!! Baby no 2 for me (I have a dd who is 7), baby no1 for him. Not a huge amount of time, came off the pill in March and been playing it by ear, last month i started tracking with an app. The months up until last month don't count as my guess on when we ovulate was waaay out 🤣

@Skip86 the bed thing was a very sedate reaction from me 🙈😂 I'm also on strike, haven't cooked or cleaned all day! He can either apologise or it's going to be a very quiet house full of food he hates for the next few weeks. I know I'm being petty but I usually let so much slide for a quiet life but I read something today about not saying anything to keep the peace kills your peace and it's so true, I end up fizzing on the inside.
I normally don't actually mind as he leaves stupidly early (6am) and gets home silly late (10pm) if he's working on one of his sites that's 2 hours away. It's not all the time and depends on time of year/what they are doing. Timings above are for when they are busy and trying to fit work around available boats and pull 12 hour shifts, this has been a few days a week for about a month. Normal day in the office is 8-6. My real issue is the fact he had the whole Saturday off and still dozed off then decided to stay awake and watch the series that he asked me to pick without me. Oh and a totally wasted child free/work free weekend!
I think I'm just angry at life right now 🙈

@lastbany it's so much worse with covid too, I'm working from home and really don't see anyone and he comes home and zonks... thanks pal your banter is phenomenal 🙄 hormonal does not help things but our actions are justified!

@Gem176 ah deffo! We had a fall out 2 weeks ago about it caus I said I get he working but I have a 10 month old 17/12 yo ( only baby is his) I'm currently in may leave (nurse) go bacn jan! I was keen to get preg quick as I can put my mat leave bacn to back! So I was in hope would only return for a month then take another year! Meaning 1/ more time with my babies but 2/ covid hopefully passed! As my worry of giving baby sonething is huge!!! Not the only reasons but do play a part from June I came off pill but same we weren't really trying then it was more of it happens great! But past few months I have been trying and according to flo have had sex around ov so I dunno but I do think I'm stressing myself out!!! I decided this time no sticks and sex every day from day 10/18 that's my plan and as much else as we can!!

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah it really is, you'd think they would have explained the side effects to expect etc but nothing. Just here you go take this!

I've woken up this morning with the same sore/uncomfortable pain in my right ovary side and I stretched when I got up and ended up doubled over as it felt like I'd got a stitch or pulled something 🤷🏼‍♀️

@lucyrp same here last night but is my left ovary, it feels like ovulation pains (maybe I’ve been calling pretty random pains, ovulation pains🙈)

Morning ladies, lots of catching up to do, but Il do that tonight as gotta get dd ready for preschool.

It's a bfn over here this morning, I'm 14 dpo so pretty certain for this month, temp still high above coverline but did drop a bit this morning and have some cramping kicking up so hopefully onto next cycle soon! Xx

I am so not looking forward to work today, I've been told I have to go upstairs in the office and do online training all day and work towards my management qualification but I'd much rather stay downstairs and be front of house while I still can. I'm only working 2 days this week and want to make the most of it before we close😔

@skip86 that sounds like my experience travelling south asia. We had rat from a man selling them from a bbq on the side of the road. Bleurgh. I dont even eat meat but I was cycling round the local villages with a local guy and he said it was a local delicacy and I was too British (read: awkward and polite) to say no. It was actually pretty good...think chicken! He said they are special field rats that only eat rice but I'm not sure I believe him!

Ladies, I need some advice. My period is now 3/4 days late. I had pre AF pains for about a week but theyve largely died down. Last night I had a nosebleed in bed. I'm too scared to test because I really don't want to be disappointed but I feel like I'm just in limbo. My sister said the only symptom she had was period cramps and no bleeding so I've stupidly got myself convinced I'm pregnant and dont want to shatter the illusion. Thoughts please?

I started AF this morning!!!! 6 weeks on the dot after the mc - FINALLY! And also got that illusive negative test!!! Hoping that is the last time I'll ever be wishing for a negative preg test!!

Wow this thread moves fast. Me and my partner have been doing some DIY around the house. We are going to get a vuation in Jan and see how we feel as to whether to stay or move before id end up having a baby. Currently 5dpo today, I feel fine but for some reason I've gone off coffee? Which is odd for me in general yesterday it tasted really bitter and I couldn't drink it and opted for a tea instead which I've not drank in years. My boobs are sore on the sides, but I'm thinking is this all in my head. Must be, my temp is still 37.8c for 3 days running dont know of it means anything.
Its been a great read so far on tilhis page and you all seem lovely and as nutty as me, in a nice way 😀 .

Well girls, I'm out😢 got to work this morning and I just knew, went to the toilet wiped and there was the light pink blood just before the bright red river flows, and my rhr has massively dipped, I felt really upset and rubbish yesterday because I just knew, I'm a bit gutted but feel okay today, one of those things isn't it, into cycle no.6! Hope everyone else is okay❤️
