@Vil10 that's what i feel like. i'd be lying if i didn't think every cycle ooo this could be it, but i also know that the chance is very unlikely as we dont have sex every other day throughout the whole cycle so the chance is very minimal. it was just by chance that we had sex 4 days in a row when "ovulation" was supposed to be. well soon see !

@lucyrp it's like 2 minds all the time isn't it!! And just as I've been typing this I got what I'm 99% sure are a few period pains, here we go againnnn🙄

@Skip86 hand hold, here for you, as always, hope dh gets some help too, and you two can talk things through
@lucyrp petrifying, unfortunately my managers are full of shit and you can never believe a word they say, so many on unsafe jobs, it’s petrifying, and @Vil10 I am also Tuesday/Wednesday

@Vil10 see that's where i'm unfortunate i don't tend to have any indication that af is on the way other than period pains the night before and that was when i was regular, can't say i've had them since i've gone irregular 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Franklydear to be fair can't say a bad word about the company i work for now, probably to do with the fact it's a big utility company but they haven't let us down yet so fingers crossed long may that continue🤞🏼 although i could see why they'd get rid of my manager 🤣

@Skip86 so sorry to hear about your journey. Here for you. We forget how hard it is for the men too don’t we. He maybe just needs time to recover himself. Communication is key, make sure you both open up to each other about how your feeling so you understand things from each other’s prospective. I’m sure you will get through whatever outcome this month. Take care x

Currently walking dogs whilst DH is at playground with DS & its so lovely to see dogs flying around really running free across the fields I've no idea where these particular paths go in just following public footpath signs, I love it ears flapping...gotta ignore the fact that both are running through every single cow pat in the god damn field 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️they will stink to high heaven but will have had a great time

Aah you ladies are amazing.
I was really hesitant to come back to the thread because I felt like a bit of an arsehole for disappearing so suddenly all those weeks ago, then just barging in wanting you all back again for a huddle! But thanks for huddling with me anyway 💗💗

I won't try to tag separately, but to those who asked/suggested, OH is actually seeing a psychologist and has been for a few most of this year.
In feb this year (same week as my MC) his dad up and left his mum very suddenly, after 40 years together, for a woman in the USA he met online. It's so fucked up and so messy, and has brought up a heap of issues that OH has with his dad. So along with a heap of other shit (being sued, renovating a house, running a new small business , bloody covid, blah blah) it's been one hell of a year!! He just needs time to sort some other shit and get ourselves back to a happier headspace.

Oh wow, see, so many realisations I am coming to just from opening up here!

And @lucyrp oh god that story is heartbreaking. I'm so glad you shared it with me though, thank you x

@Skip86 my friend was telling me a few weeks ago, she lost a baby girl half way through pregnancy years ago, she feels guilty for terminating for medical reasons, but really the pregnancy wasn’t viable, even if it got to term, doubtful, baby wouldn’t have lived long, I am glad that finally she could tell and I can support her even if much later

@Minster2012 i really hope so! OH and i have been confused wjat to do with ourselves on these days off as we usually go and do something nice and go places but we haven't been able to reallt because of everything going on now. all seems to be coming to a standstill again x

Arghhhh!! Feeling very frustrated this morning as my app has deleted the last 8 months of recorded data I had on my cycles and all the spotting etc.
Feeling pretty peed off now and these worsening pre AF cramps are making me scream (in my head )

@Newbie0818 Yeah I know exactly what you mean. GP’s don’t really want to get involved do they? Good on you for standing up for yourself and taking charge because it’s ridiculous being pushed from pillar to post!
So the metformin apparently helps increase the tissue sensitivity to insulin and makes them less resistant to hormonal signals, which means it may well help with ovulation. It’s also supposed to help with weight loss which can then regulate cycles. So far, it’s just made me feel really sick but I’m told that should settle down xxx

My sister in law is pregnant with her second, only realised 12 weeks gone, silly mare, truly happy for them, now to see if we can have close in age cousins

You are both having a tough time of it @skip86 no doubt about that. You will both get there and who knows the other night could result in a bfp and I'm sure ur DP will be fine about it.

Going by opk and other ovulation symptoms on thurs if I did I'm currently 13dpo and back in the game. Heres hoping. I know loads of u tell your DPs about ovulation etc I don't. I feel it would out the pressure on him to perform. I did mention last night I think I did on thurs and he said he figured 🤣🤣 me pouncing on him and mad horny a few days in a row generally gives it away. Lol

Some of you might remember me saying I'm like so fussy with food. Plain jane here. So I'm eating the brazil nuts daily and just had an omelette (eggs for my eggs) my 1st time trying eggs was my last cycle b4 bfp so let's hope they help me out this time.
@franklydear your poor friend. I was talking to a friend the other night who was telling me she had 4 mc. One was twins, she found out at 20wks the wee girl twin her heart had stopped at 18wks 😭 that is so much worse, I think than what I went through. I just hope my bad luck has come and gone and by the end of next yr we will be a family of 5 🥰🌈

@lucyrp i was like that when I was on the pill, got a few mild pains the morning of them started that afternoon, now since coming off I get pains and spotting like 1/2 days before!

@clolo so frustrating isn't it! It's good he's getting to see one though, so many don't even bother before they jump straight to ivf. So do you think he might have something genetically wrong? My hubs was 3 months premature and I wonder if that affected his sperm production somehow?! He said he never had mumps or anything as a child so it'll be interesting to see if they find anything. I'm half thinking it might be a varicocele. I've heard the count jumps up so much once that's removed!
@Skip86 gosh what a predicament! No real words of advice apart from talking to DH some more to find out why he's not ready to try again yet.
I wrote this then saw your follow up, sounds like time is what he needs then. Sounds like a very stressful year and I guess he needs to ready himself mentally before trying again. How long do you think you could wait?

Anyone know if using tranexamic acid can lengthen your cycle?
I used it this month and it just made my period longer so does this mean that my cycle will be longer? I'm worried because I'm already having pre AF pains a week before supposedly due and I don't think I can take two weeks of this rubbish! Hahaxx

O @Skip86 that's a lot for you both to deal with & im totally with the other ladies, we all have to make hard decisions that are so tough but for the best of course we got your back. My DH & I had to had such hard conversations with my best friend for the surrogacy about what if any of the testing came back showing problems & would she be ok with terminating & how might that affect her, her family etc. We had to discuss it all because at the end of the day I've still got a potential life sentence hanging over me so we had to say that if a child had a life limiting condition & I got ill it could all fall on DH so what would that mean? So we had to have those conversations even before doing the surrogacy. Thank god it wasn't needed but these things are so hard for all let alone for you with everything else. Anyway. It may just be a case of suck it and see how he is over the next few weeks and try not to pressure him or even talk about it maybe but instead try have nice dinners, scratch his back & tell him you are there for him & love him and the kids more than anything. Get him to try to remember why you wanted another in a softly softly way.

@lucyrp I know it's weird again isn't it, you are in a worse affected area so it must suck 😔we are going away to a cottage next weekend & we were meant to be going with my best friend & her family but can't now as more than 6. So we are going first then her. We just tried to book in for food & cos it's a small village the 2 pubs booked up, I'm not quite sure what we are going to do with a hyperactive DS not being able to actually do much 😬😝

I've just done a bundle of rainbow neutral baby goods for someone to post out to them tomorrow 😩🌈, DH said "was that baby grow meant to be for X?", "no, it was for the next one, or a gift, so I'm sending it out a gift." We can get excited and buy new stuff if it happens. Ho hum

@Minster2012 you are SO right. Softly softly is what's needed. Not necessarily with an agenda either, just because I love him and care about him, and if that approach helps him change his mind sooner then even better.

@AmesK hmm interesting, so kindve similar to what inositol does. That's what I've been doing and I'm sure it's helped regulate me, but pricey so I'm reluctant to stay on it 😒

@notyetamumbuttrying welll.... since the spotting this morning post DTD I've had nothing... stupid hopeful spotting tease body 😫 this always happens, I always think it might be implantation bleeding, and then the day I plan a test af shows 😂 I give up!
