Success stories please. Low AMH, low antral follicles

I've been diagnosed with a low antral follicle count (have 4 on one ovary and 2 on the other). I also have a low AMH level of 3.3. Im in my early 30s.

Are there any success stories out of of people conceiving naturally? And if so, how long were you trying for?

I'm thinking about whether I should go for IVF (what the consultant recommended) or whether it's pointless to continue trying Hmm

Thanks everyone!

I'm 41 and in September 2019, I had AMH and AFC tested.

AMH was 1.1 pmol/l. Which is extremely low. AFC was 4. Again, low.

Turns out my TSH was too high at 4, so I started taking levo and fell pregnsnt first try. I did follow some of the advice in 2nd Ed It Starts with the Egg also, for about 10 weeks before trying. The levo took 3 months to normalise mtpy TSH to 1.

All going very well with the pregnancy so far, NIPT all low risk!

@ohsheglows whilst you will hear some success stories you might be best to move to IVF now as with those numbers you might just about be ok but if you leave ot much longer and the numbers drop you are likely to have a poor response to the drugs. Good news is you are considered young in the IVF world so the eggs you do get should be good quality. I am not a success story and my AMH was 5.6/AFC 10 when I started IVF

@Livingmagicallyagain oh wow, congrats! I'm so happy for you.

Yes I've bought that book too, and thrown out anything that could have BPA in!

My bloods came back as normal, apart from the AMH, so I'm really hoping that I do fall pregnant naturally at some point! I've read some positive stories but also trying to be realistic at the same time!

@TTCIVF I am so sorry to hear that your IVF wasn't successful. I appreciate your comment about moving forward with the IVF. Sadly I don't think I'll even be eligible because my AMH level is too low and my local CCG are asking for it to be 5.5pmol or over. We can't afford private IVF at this moment in time either!
