So I have been trying to conceive for 3 months so far. I took a pregnancy test 9DPO knowing it was too early and thought it was positive but I think it was just an evap. I started to bleed a few days before my due date but it wasn't like my usual period and it didn't last as long. Anyway that was just over a week ago now but for the past few weeks I haven't felt myself. I've been having headaches backache feeling sick and constantly drained. My question is, has anyone experienced period like bleeding to later find out they are pregnant? I'm so confused!

Me! But I am tentatively waiting to see if it is viable/ in the right place. I recently created a thread called 'bfp after seemingly normal AF' (can't find a way to copy a link) and got some warnings for me get in touch with my doctor and to look out for the symptoms of ectopic (pain, bleeding) as it could be a sign. So great full for mumsnet as wouldn't have thought about that before but now I can be on the lookout. I spoke to my doctor and she said she isn't worried unless I have pain or start bleeding so she is taking it as a positive and thinks it was a heavy implantation bleed. I am still not getting too excited though as my lines are consistently faint! Glad to have it on my record even if it does end in MC though. I would take a test. Good luck OP!

@Bertyb7 Congratulations! Those don't even look faint to me they are very clear :) I'm thinking of waiting until saturday and then if I still feel the same I will test again then. Hope all goes well for you best of luck 💐
