Am I still pregnant?

Yesterday I got a positive at 15dpo on a frer, today I took a frer and the line is barely there? Am I about to lose this? Yesterday I dipped the stick and today I peed on it (if that makes any difference)!

Did you take the test at the same time? E.g first morning urine?

Yes, the exact same time @MrsMcnulty20 The line is definitely there it’s just a lot lighter, I don’t know if I’m over panicking or not.

Maybe when you peed on it you didn't saturate it as much as when you dipped it? You could try a 4 hour hold, some people say they get better results in the afternoon/evening. Fx for you

I think you are still pregnant but I can see why you are worried about the faintness (and I totally understand how you feel as I am also worried about my faint lines at the moment!). I think the only confirmation will be to retest in a couple of days (that's what I plan to do but the wait is going to be horrendous!)

Does it look any darker now it's dried a bit OP?

I’m out at the moment but will check @MarshmallowsOnToast. I’m feeling dreadful. Sick and sore tummy! I’ve been reading that it can happen, tests not as strong. 🤞

@mabel9 it's definitely still there though, so you are still pregnant  I have heard that HCG levels can fluctuate and testing urine isn't so accurate so hopefully it was just a case of diluted urine. I would test tomorrow morning and then reassess. My lines are ridiculously light but starting to think I maybe ovulated a couple of days later than thought (middle test is meant to be 18dpo!! The top on 16dpo). The GP wasn't remotely worried about the darkness or progression of lines though, she said a positive is a positive and some people ever get dark lines, which reassured me a bit. She did say to wait two weeks and test again- definitely couldn't wait two whole weeks!!

I am still expecting the worst though and just taking every day as it comes. Quite relieved to know I can get pregnant even if this isn't a sticky bean as have a short LP and thought I was doomed

Hi @Bertyb7 well done you for phoning your GP and I guess the hcg is positive news!
Yours are definitely positive, congratulations! I’m not going to tear again for a few days and just wait and see! Are you going to test again?

@mabel9 I wish I could say I would definitely wait a few days like you but know I will be itching to test tomorrow morning (although after my two first response tests I am now moving over to cheapies, I will wait a few days to do a first response as don't want to waste them!)
