Are first response preg tests accurate?

About to start our TWW and I currently have clear blue digital tests in my drawer but have heard they can sometimes give false negatives if you take even a day early and they’re not too sensitive?

My friend used one an got a negative result then tried it again a week later due to no period and it was positive! She said she took it 1 day before period was due

I’ve read a few threads where everyone says first response is the best for early detection and you can see positive results as early as 10dpo

However, as I went to order on Amazon there’s some reviews stating they give false positives? Which I really don’t want but I know Amazon reviews are always mixed and overall they do have a good star rating just a few saying it was falsely positive

Advice needed! Really am looking to get a line style pregnancy test rather than digital so I can test 10/11dpo Smile

FRER'S (First Response Early Result) are definitely the best to use if you're going to test early, most other tests aren't sensitive enough at 10/11 DPO. Good luck 😊 x

FRER are the best, I got mine from DrFertility online so they were legit x

They're supposed to be the most accurate. I've had very early positives on them all three times.

My understanding is that there's no such thing as a false positive. They're either indent lines or very early chemical pregnancies.

Thank you very much everyone! As recommended by @TTCbabyx I’ve just purchased off DrFertility to reassure myself they’re 110% the real deal!

Of course I could wait until the day AF is due but with it being our first cycle trying I’m quite excited and want to test as early as possible really!

Good luck @milknosugar97. I’m also on first cycle trying and waiting for FRER to be delivered. I’m currently 9dpo and still undecided on how early to test. Keep us updated how you get on xx
