Early scan not reassured!

I just had my private reassurance scan. I'm 7+3 according to dates but measured at 5+6! The sonographer was very optimistic saying 'this happens all the time' and I won't really know when I conceived so may be less than I think. She was trying to be very reassuring which was nice to hear but I'm just not convinced. My lmp was 22nd Aug and positive OPK on day 15. The scan (which was transabdominal) showed a sac and york emerging but that was it. Im just left very unsure. Repeat scan in 2 weeks. Anyone been in same position and all been ok?

I went through something similar in August. I went for a scan at what I knew would make me over 7 weeks however at the scan I was told I was 6+1. I knew my dates couldn’t be wrong as I’d only had sex once and tracked ovulation. I questioned it with the sonographer who played it down and said my dates must be wrong. Deep down I knew the pregnancy wasn’t progressing, this was confirmed 2 weeks later.

Hopefully your pregnancy ends more positively than mine. There are plenty of women who measure behind and go on to have healthy pregnancy’s so don’t lose hope.
