TTC with irregular cycle

Hi everyone

Recently got the implant out after 12 years of hormonal contraception (I am now 30)

Periods were always irregular age 14 to 18, got implant out 6 weeks ago and had one period straight away, no others since and multiple negative tests. I had hoped my cycle may have sorted itself out since I was a teenager but perhaps not!

Anyone else in similar situation? Feeling a bit down heartened. I did always have a feeling conception may be an issue for me because of this.
Thanks

Hiya, you sound like me a few years ago!

I had no periods on the implant for 6 years (was on the pill for a year or two prior). Had implant out, and was irregular/long cycles for 6-9 months before TTC.
We fell pregnant within 3 months of ttc!

This was a few years ago now and since having my little nothing has become any more regular! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I was always irregular, so after coming off the pill I charted my basal body temperature to see if and when I was ovulating. Took all the stress and guess work out of it for me.
