Implantation bleeding pretty early period?

So... officially we’re on a break from TTC after 18 months of nothing, because I’ve started a new job.
I’ve recently lost weight (3 stone) and period have become more regular... I think I ovulated around 2nd October just because that was what app suggested and also I get slight ovary paid when ov, no sticks this month because not trying! We only DTD once, DH’s birthday on 2nd Oct. AF not due until Friday... but got dark blood on wiping just now? Is this the start of period just early? Or could it be IB? I did a test a couple of days ago (because I’m a loon) and negative.

Hi, it does sound similar to what I had. I had red blood when wiping on 7DPO, which was exactly one week before AF was due. I bled a little pretty much every day up until around 14DPO, mainly dark blood not red again. I got a faint BFP at 11DPO and then it got stronger each day ☺️ bleeding stopped once I got past AF due date. So could well be implantation if you're normally quite regular ☺️ x

I’m in a similar position however not had a first period since coming off the mini pill. Think I could be possibly 9DPO and started light spotting 2 days ago. First was pinky colour and now it’s very dark brown and only when I wipe. Im going to test at the end of the week. For me it might just be the start of my first proper bleed since coming off pill nearly 7 weeks ago

Yeah, I think it’s probably my period starting early tbh, BFN on test this afternoon

You won't get a BFP 3 hours after implantation bleeding OP, give it a couple of days to test
