Hi everyone,

Just after a little bit of advice on trying for a baby after taking microgynon. I have been taking it for 11 years now! How long did it take for you to get pregnant after stopping taking it? I know it will be different for everyone but I am just wanting to know how long it generally took people 😊
Im 28 years old and have no children. We decided to stop this month so just waiting for my withdrawal bleed.

Hi it took me about 3 months and I was a similar age. I didn't really put a time on it though

It took me 7 months, but I was 32 at the time.

I was 31 when I came off it. 32 when I conceived. Took me nine months. I'd been on it for about 11/12 years when I came off it.

I took this for a long time before trying to conceive my first baby. Conceived in the first month after stopping!

I came off it last October when I was 28 - we got pregnant in April but it was an ectopic. Best of luck! 💙

@kbe15 I’m currently on my first cycle ttc after coming off after approx 12 years! Had my withdrawal bleed then started ttc straight away, no idea if my cycles will return to normal straight away but just dtd at least every other day and seeing what happens! X

I was on it for 14 years, 28 years old when we started TTC and fell pregnant the second month. It's definitely just luck of the draw.

It took me about 15 months. Cycles have been irregular ever since and I don't think I ovulated every cycle as some were 40-53 days long.
Hopefully takes you a lot less
