HELP! Clear blue went from flashing to blank smiley? No static

Been using clear blue tests this month, first month of TTC and have had flashing smileys since Monday and including this morning

Predicted ovulation is tomorrow so took one again this afternoon and it’s blank? I didn’t get a solid smiley does that mean I won’t ovulate or haven’t ovulated?

Gutted as it’s our first month and this has got me worrying

@BettyBoooooop I use the same ovulation kits, this month I had 5 days of flashing smileys (with first morning pee) then day 6 I had a blank face (after peeing once during the night). I was gutted thinking I’d missed ovulation but I had EWCM which is a usual sign. I tested that evening and got my static smiley!

Do you track your CM? Although the tests are expensive you really want to be testing twice a day during fertile week as your surge can come quickly! Most people use cheap ones from Amazon and test more frequently. As long as your DTD every other day you should be covered 😊 hope that helps? Xx

I’ve tested after drinking which could’ve affected it. Think I’ll just relax for the night and test tomorrow when it’s strongest!

I do, I couldn’t see loads of the EWCM and my OPKs haven’t been the darkest this month but if I checked for the EWCM it was there! Maybe my hormones are a bit low this month? Xxx

@BettyBoooooop you could take one FMU then another one later around 4pm? Have you been DTD every other day anyway? You never know, hopefully you’ve caught it ☺️!! xx

@MJM1608 that sounds like a plan! Might not be so fixated on them next month and just DTD every other day (which we have been doing) but without them. So fingers crossed we’ve caught it this month!

Spoke with my friend who said she used them both babies, never had a static smiley. Really can just be timing of the testing which I’m believing this could be, and hearing she got pregnant easily with both and no static smileys has kind of reassured me.
