OPK's getting fainter...

Hi all!

Hoping someone can help me with this one! 🤔

I am CD9 today, I began testing again this month with OPK's yesterday on cycle day 8.
Today, on CD9 my OPK strip is lighter than it was yesterday...

Does anybody know why this may be? Last month I was seeing them get progressively darker, so this has really confused me!!

Thank you 💓

OPKs don't have to get progressively darker. And they can also cycle through darker and lighter throughout the month.

Mine are often practically white until the day before ovulation when they suddenly become dark positives overnight. The day after ovulation they're almost completely white again.

Try not to worry too much about it. Just keep looking for an OPK which has a test line that's at least as dark as the control. Good luck. Smile
