I think you might be pregnant ?

calimommy · 09/10/2020 08:11

You have to wait 6 months for what? I'm so confused about what you are asking.

TheDaydreamBelievers · 09/10/2020 08:18

Hi @Jlmills I assume you have taken a test and you are not pregnant?

Unfortunately hormonal contraceptives can play havoc with your cycle. Coming off the pill I didnt get a period for 4 months! I suggest you post in the Conception boards - lots of helpful people there and people in the same position

TheDaydreamBelievers · 09/10/2020 08:19

@calimommy I think she means GPs are not interested in cycle irregularities until 6mo off contraception. Mine was the same!

calimommy · 09/10/2020 08:26

Ha ok thanks @TheDaydreamBelievers ! I couldn't make head nor tail of the question.
Yes once you come off any type of hormonal birth control it can take many months for your body to regulate. Some women slip back into their regular cycles straight away while others don't. If you wanted you could try herbal supplements. Vitex Agnus Castus and Evening Primrose Oil are two ive taken. No idea if they actually did anything but it might be worth a try if you are impatient to get going.

In that case @Jlmills it sounds like your cycle has been thrown off by the implant. Id post on the conception boards and youll get lots of advice about how to track cycle and how to get back on track, as well as lots of personal experiences of coming off the implant
