TTC first time!

Hey

New to this and wanted to give it a shot.

Feel very alone in the TTC world 🙁

Would love to hear everyone's advice, tips even stories. I'm currently waiting for AF which is due Thursday(ish) can't decide about my symptoms if there PMS or pregnancy!! Only first cycle though

Been using Ovia for TTC side of things and Flo for my period.

So would love to speak to some of you❤️

Welcome 😊 I'm on 3rd cycle TTC #1, are you doing anything to monitor ovulation? Knowing when you've ovulated is really helpful, then you know when you can test and work out how long your luteal phase is x

I've recently bought ovulation strips (conveniently after supposed ovulation 😂) and I follow my apps but that's just with the guided ovulation day. I have intention if I get the AF this cycle I will start clocking my ovulation more!

How are you finding your journey?x

@apwilso how many DPO are you? Are you planning on doing an early test or waiting until af is due? I came off the pill beginning August so my first two cycles were a bit short, hoping this time they'll have gone back to normal, so should be a good time to start monitoring ovulation x

Track cycle on an app - Flo
Use Advanced Digital OPK - Clearblue
Try to eliminate stress and decrease caffeine from your diet xx

Oh and try not to test until you're late.

If you are going to test a lot, buy the cheap HCG strips of Amazon zzz

I'm a nightmare I've used cheap pregnancy tests with awful reviews. I'm due on my period tomorrow/Friday so ovulation was around two weeks ago. I have early tested and was negative so I will wait and see at this point. Feel like AF is coming though 😩

Thanks for the advice. I'm so bad with the testing!!! I feel like I convince myself into symptoms 😳

@apwilso has your af arrived today? If you're going to test early you're best using a FRER but it will end up costing a lot if you do it too often! I've just bought a twin pack of FRER and a pack of cheapies. Once I get to around 10DPO it becomes very difficult not to test, so I know how you feel! x

Hey everyone my AF did arrive. It's really nice to know there's people around to vent to! Took a few days away from the app but would love to make friends in the TTC WORLD!🤍

It did unfortunately was a bit upset but have to learn it doesn't happen straight away! I'm going to start properly tracking my ovulation this month so I can keep on top of everything!

I've had some blood but unsure if it's implantation or af

It started off my light blood like pinky red. I thought this may have been implantation but wasn't until a few hours later the heavy bleeding started. It was the strangest period though

It was always bright red blood which I feel isn't usually for me and quite heavy. I experienced a lot of backache pre period which I never get.
