No ovulation 5 weeks after Merina

Came off Merina after 5 years on September 1st. I had a 6 day bleed a week later and have taken an ovulation test every evening since then and nothing.

Anyone else had this?

I came off the pill and it took a year for things to return to normal. Dunno if it's like that with the coil too.

Have not had Mirena, but didn’t ovulate for 45 days after Nexplanon (which is also a progesterone based contraceptive).

Also this time had my Nexplanon removed on 1 September too and have not yet had any bleed or any ovulation (also tracking with OPKs), so we can go crazy waiting for ovulation together Bells!

Try testing in the afternoon if possible. I got pregnant 2 months after having the mirena out but found I was ovulating a few days after my period and it only showed on tests in the afternoon. I'd have missed it if I waited until evening.

Hey @Bells3032, I had the Mirena removed in May and it took me a little while to ovulate the first time round.

I think it does take a little while for your body to regulate afterwards, my cycle is only just getting back to normal now.
