No idea how we managed to smash through 1,000 messages (40% of them are probably me anyway, ha!) in such a short space of time, but a new thread is needed for the post pill TTC party, so here it is...

Tag anyone I've forgotten please, and new party-goers always welcome :)

@CharWils @PumpkinEverything omg congratulations the both of you 🎉🎉 I hope they are sticky beans. I have joined some June due date groups on FB and I still don't quite believe it is real 🙈
I hope everyone else is well?

Tatty1987 · 15/10/2020 15:09

@Juno231 haha ... totally chucking the wee stick in his face Grin

lilacflower12 · 15/10/2020 15:24

@AMS19 I'm in Hertfordshire so borders both of them, think we'll be next to go

@CharWils @Tatty1987Congratulations both!

ChinChilly · 15/10/2020 15:29

Sorry to hear that @AnonymousXXIX I don’t have any suggestions I’m aftaid 😞 hoping someone can send you some advice! Flowers

Flowerbudd · 15/10/2020 15:37

@AnonymousXXIX Aw, Im sorry as well. I hope you and your OH are ok Thanks xx

Sperr · 15/10/2020 15:41

Congratulations on everyone’s BFP- what dpo did everyone test? I’m trying to hold off until Sunday when I will be 13dpo 😣

Juno231 · 15/10/2020 15:43

@AnonymousXXIX which part wasn't good? mobility, morphology, count? GP should refer the two of you to a fertility clinic and tell you what/if anything can be done to improve his swimmers in the meantime.

@AMS19 FIL's flat is in E2 so I just walk into the city :)

Tatty1987 · 15/10/2020 16:00

@Sperr I’m so impatient I did my first test yesterday at 11dpo with a cheapie and today I tested with two brands and got definite results, quite quickly too. 🤞🏻 it sticks.
My AF was due tomorrow ...

It’s so hard trying to hold off but I guess the longer you leave it the more definitive it’ll be. My test at 11dpo was really faint and I thought I was seeing things Smile

PumpkinEverything · 15/10/2020 16:13

@Sperr I tested at 11 DPO at around 5pm because I couldn’t wait any longer. I’m now 13 DPO and my lines on my cheapies are very faint. Going to use a FRER shortly and hope that there’s a line on there 🤞🏻

AnonymousXXIX · 15/10/2020 16:17

@Juno231 none of it was great but esp the count was v low (2million). It is unexpected tbh because we're both super healthy, never smoked, etc. etc. so just incredibly unlucky and no idea what to do about it!

AMS19 · 15/10/2020 16:19

@Juno231 amazing!!! Will you be moving nearby? I'm SE so much further out but still only a 30min DLR to the City where I usually work

Sperr · 15/10/2020 16:21

@PumpkinEverything @Tatty1987 11dpo sounds like a lucky day! I’m going to get a FRER on Saturday I think but try wait to do it on Sunday morning on 13 dpo! Do either of you have symptoms yet?

Tatty1987 · 15/10/2020 16:44

@Sperr I haven’t had anything too noticeable just yet, I feel like I’m wondering what every twinge is though

CharWils · 15/10/2020 16:57

@Tatty1987 I took a last min day of annual leave, no way would I of been able to concentrate 😂 enjoy telling your fiancé! My OH was also in a state of shock and have had to send various pee stick pics throughout the day! 😂

@AnonymousXXIX sorry to hear this, hope you are both okay.

@Sperr positive on cheapie at 13 DPO, then took clear blue early to double (and triple) check. it was showing blank on cheapies the last few days up until this morn. Good luck!

Is there a thread where people from this group can go to chat pregnancy once they have had their BFP? Conscious I don't want to do it all over a TTC page as might be difficult for some people, but people on this page are the most friendly/helpful I have found here and would be great to stay in touch with people 🙂

Kay00 · 15/10/2020 17:01

@AnonymousXXIX im sorry to hear about the results, hopefully the fertility clinic will have some solutions xx

PumpkinEverything · 15/10/2020 17:17

FRER shows a clear line 😭😭😭 I cant believe this. I’m sorry if this upsets anyone else, I just have no one else to tell about this right now as I want to wait until Monday to tell my husband (which is actually going to kill me and I need to find something to distract myself!)

I don’t know if this is helpful to anyone at all but I always liked seeing this type of comment so just wanted to share my experience.

I was on the pill for around around 14 years or so, microgynon to begin with, then I think dianette and then lastly yasmin (sorry if I’ve spelt any of those names wrong 🙈) I stopped taking it in February as we had originally planned on starting TTC in May after our holiday (that was obviously cancelled). We then put it off until October, and then brought it back to this month.
Since then I’ve had cycles of 34, 45, 39, 34 and 41. This cycle I’m CD43 so far.
I’m a vegetarian so I’ve been taking Superdrug vegetarian multi vitamin gummies for 2 years, and then on the 1st August I swapped to pregnacare pre conception to give my body a good few weeks to actually get the benefit. I decided 3 weeks ago or so that this was giving me brain fog and I didn’t feel good so I swapped to seven seas pre conception and I’ve been taking it since then.

I’m 31, average sort of weight, and I haven’t exercised since May or June. I’ve been wanting to start again but didn’t know if it was a good idea when TTC as I’ve read not to start doing something completely different. I walk a lot so I’ve been going for a walk every morning.
My diet is vegetarian. I eat a lot of bread and pasta, and eggs and cheese 🙈 I also try to eat fruit and vegetables most days but I know I’m not the best at it.
I’ve attached my cycle chart so you can see how that looks and when we DTD.

As for symptoms I tried to write them all off and justify them, but last week I was an actual crazy person. I was so irritated and fed up, and I broke down and cried at the weekend. I’ve felt much happier, calmer and normal this week though!
I also felt extremely bloated the day after ovulation (which I blamed on eating a chippie), but it lasted for 3-4 day’s and it was pretty bad bloating. I’ve also felt more gassy than usual.
My CM seems to have increased slightly and was slightly wetter too.
I had a few cramps in the first few days after ovulation, but not many since then apart from the odd few yesterday.
My skin also broke out two weeks ago, has since cleared up, but I’ve noticed I’ve a few around my mouth again today (which is where I usually get them around ovulation so I think they’re hormonal)
I’ve had no spotting so far.
I had a really sore back for 3 days last week where I had to keep trying to do stretches and sit with a water bottle on my back. (Blamed this on our kitchen chair)
I don’t feel any extra tiredness or nausea at the moment thankfully
My boobs have felt quite sore for a few days and kept me awake on Sunday night when I lay on my front. They don’t seem to hurt by themselves, but they hurt if I touch them.
I told myself I wasn’t going to test until 14 DPO, but I just really wanted to do on 11 DPO and I caved, which is when I got my first faint line on my cheapie at 5pm. Same again the morning of 12 DPO and same again this morning on 13 DPO. The photo I’ve attached is this afternoon at 13DPO.

Sorry, my cycle was pretty long so I can’t get it all into the screenshot, but we DTD the day after AF ended (this is cut off) and then I stopped charting after the last BD on my chart you can see as I stopped testing and only wrote down my ‘symptoms’
I didn’t check my BBT and had planned on starting to the next cycle!

Sorry if no one wants to hear this, but if it helps anyone at all then that’s great 😊

I’m a worrier in general so this has now ramped up while I cross all my fingers and pray this sticks. I hope everyone doesn’t mind, but I would like to stick around in this thread for a while ❤️

@CharWils I would love this too if you find a page! This has definitely been the most helpful and everyone is so nice

ChinChilly · 15/10/2020 17:24

@PumpkinEverything that’s amazing, I needed to read something like that, been feeling abit down about it all recently, so pleased for you! @CharWils please both stick around and don’t feel like you can’t post on here I’m sure we would all love to hear how it is all progressing for you both!

Trying4one · 15/10/2020 17:32

@PumpkinEverything that's an amazing line ❤️ congratulations, I am so happy for you

CharWils · 15/10/2020 17:45

Thanks @ChinChilly would love to stay on here and see how you are all getting on too.

@PumpkinEverything I enjoyed reading your post - symptom wise I was also crazy the last couple of weeks so that's reassuring! 😂 had a bit of heartburn a few days ago and some what felt like period cramps briefly at about the same time. Despite that nothing else yet apart from very tender boobs and now you have said it I have a few spots which I don't normally suffer with.

I am also a huge worrier so good to know in good company! Hence why I worry so much about it being upsetting for anyone! We could always create our own group and go between the 2 as there seems to be quite a few with BFP this month?!

CharWils · 15/10/2020 17:47

@PumpkinEverything p.s amazing line!! It feels so hard to believe doesn't it!

Flowerbudd · 15/10/2020 18:34

@PumpkinEverything Aww, i love those posts too, it's nice to see your journey. Please stay in touch, will be lovely to hear how you get on and same with @CharWils and @Tatty1987

AMS19 · 15/10/2020 18:51

@PumpkinEverything I'm genuinely over the moon for you. Please do stay in touch ❤

lawandgin · 15/10/2020 19:07

Hi all. Gosh I've been so out of the loop this week, work has been crazy. Congratulations to all those with BFPs! It's so lovely to see. Excitingly I have just got my first EVER positive OPK at CD 23. Tested at 2pm and it had stayed around the same at 6pm. Will test again tomorrow as I am now enjoying a g&t or two after a horrible day (for anyone that doesn't know, I am 5 months off the pill but we will need IVF due to DH previous vasectomy). Feels like progress.

CharWils · 15/10/2020 21:07

Great news @lawandgin, we haven't spoken before but definitely sounds like great progress!
