No idea how we managed to smash through 1,000 messages (40% of them are probably me anyway, ha!) in such a short space of time, but a new thread is needed for the post pill TTC party, so here it is...

@xoriea I’ve just had my first spotting/withdrawal bleed and I’m nearly 7 weeks since coming Off the mini pill however had lots of what I thought was PG symptoms which are similar to AF symptoms. It was just all the hormones settling down. I had the symptoms for around 3/4 weeks. Hope this helps

@xoriea I had similar symptoms when I came off the pill, they will probably last until your hormone levels settle down but it’s not impossible to fall pregnant straight away

@Sperr 4DPO here. No symptoms as too early. Tender boobs as usual but really bad this time and also slight pulling/cramping on the side I ovulated but again could be my body adjusting still so just going with it 

@xoriea I had all sorts, lots of cramps especially and sore boobs where the main for me :) xx

@Flowerkm my boobs are tingly but not sore. I have had back yesterday I started to get pains In my back and it’s been a full ache since. This is super gross but I can’t stop burping (not like massive ones but loads of little ones).

@xoriea exciting :) Have you had your break through bleed since coming off the pill? Assuming you did starting 27th Sept then the you would be on CD 15, so you should be looking out for ovulation. Your symptoms could be related to ovulation or could be your body adjusting to its new hormones :)

hi! i track my periods anyway as they can sometimes be inconsistent and it said i was fertile between 5-8th so who knows!

@Flowerbudd Could be positive, keeping everything crossed for you!

CD5 over here so nothing really to report! When does everyone start taking OPKs I only started using them last month so not sure if I ovulate at a certain cycle day or not

@ChinChilly I start testing from CD 10, but i'm on CD 21 and still no positive lol

@Kay00 do you normally have long cycles? I think I may start from CD10! I keep getting AF cramps like it’s not finished was such a light period though so it could return 😂

@ChinChilly yes, since coming off the pill they have been pretty long. My follicular phase is somewhere between 18 and 32 days long and my luteal phase is between 8 and 14 days.

Ladies, I have a question. I'm pretty sure i'm due to ovulate - I have been in my fertile period for a few days and my temp has dropped over the last few days (plus EWCM and I seriously have the horn - haha!) and for the last couple of days I have had some stabbing pains somewhere to the left of my belly button. They are sharp but not too strong but noticeable. They come and go but always in the same place. m I wondered if this was ovulation pain... has anyone else had this? I have not noticed it before. If not perhaps it is just wind! :D Haha!

@ChinChilly I started testing for the first time rbis month and I started mine on CD13, and didn’t peak until CD29. All low scores beforehand. I don’t know yet how long each part of my cycle is, but I do know the total ranges from 34-45 days, and I’m currently on CD40 today 😊

@Kay00 that does sound sort of similar to what I had, only I think I felt mine on the right this month! Mine started in the evening and got a little bit worse, and then continued slightly into the next day. From what I remember anyway!

@Sperr I’m 10 DPO today too, and trying to figure out symptoms as well. I’ve definitely not had any spotting or anything like that so far. I still feel like AF is about to show up anytime now

Pass me the gin (I don't even drink!). Why is it when you are trying to be Zen about life / 2WW everything goes haywire. Work is like nailing jelly to a wall at the moment. Honestly feel done tonight. Cycle 6 of TTC and 35 at the end of the month. Really don't want to go to GP as I'll get the 'oh your fat' / 'oh you've got anxiety' / 'oh your old' chat from them. I appreciate I'm fat, anxious and old and probably waited that bit too long to TTC. Sorry ladies for the moan post - needed to get it out. Hopefully sleep tonight will make things look better in the morning. Love to all ❤️

@Kay00 @PumpkinEverything thanks both, I ovulated CD18 last cycle, which I thought was abit late for me as my cycles are around 28-30 days, it was the first time I tracked though so I think I will start POAS CD10

@mrsmacmc I feel exactly the same this week everything seems to be going wrong at once, why does that always happen 🙄

I used mine from around CD10 but after a few month I worked out I wasn't ovulating until CD14-CD16 so test from day 13ish for me.

@Kay00 For me Ive noticed a few days of stitch like pains in both sides and then (when i assume ovulation is happening) I have a pain in the side of my low abdomen which sounds so weird but feels like something is there and then a few hours later its gone. Hopefully you're ovulating soon, sounds like it could be :)

@mrsmacmc ooh no :( sending lots of hugs don't be hard on yourself, cycle 6 is still pretty early for TTC so keep going. Hope you're feeling this morning xx

@Kay00 ever since I came off the pill I have had ovulation pains fairly regularly; one day noticeable and then other days on and off; usually on one side. I mentioned it to my GP who said it was normal (cause I thought I was making it up).

Feeling pretty down today about it all. This is 9 cycles of ttc post pill now I think, and I am worried about something being seriously wrong. I do actually get periods and I do ovulate, plus my bloods came back ok - so I am very lucky in that regard.. but then why isn't it working? (Have sent OH to GP as well fyi awaiting results!) Just the thought of more appointments going all through 2021 is really depressing.

@mrsmacmc I really hope work calms down and you start getting a little bit of zen back, please don't be hard on yourself! I'm 35 too and I know any doctor would tell me I started trying late... but we have a few years left in us yet! It might just take us a little longer xx

@Flowerkm I was full of enthusiasm yesterday for my impending ovulation... all the signs were lining up, but no temperature rise this morning ... whats going on?

I have had fertile fluid for a few days and I feel like my peak day was on Sunday (CD20) but its Tuesday today and my temps are still really low? We have DTD loads and I'm worried we have over done it now. If we haven't ovulated yet then maybe I won't at all? Or is my body just really slow? In which case should we keep DTD? Or will DH's sperm be immature if we keep DTD at the rate we are (daily or twice a day)?!

Urgh!

@Kay00 @Flowerbudd it does feel as though I had these pains for a few days over my peak... but maybe that was my body trying and failing?

@AnonymousXXIX I think sending your DH to the GP is a good course of action, it would be really good to rule anything out at least.

Hoping all of us ladies are moving into a new lucky cycle - I feel like wrapping up warm out of the cold, early nights, relaxing in (warm) baths and eating lots of soup and hot meals might help

Morning all! My BBT went really low this morn, so am not feeling hopeful 😕 I'm only 9DPO, but looking at this I would say AF is coming?! I really hope not and that it goes back up tomorrow, but not feeling great about it urgh.

Monring ladies. Happy Tuesday! Im having to pop into the office today as a one off. Packed my OPK for later but guessing I'll have to use it straight into urine stream...not sure how reliable that will be (based on me not trusting myself to get it right and not just end up covering my arm in wee - 🤢)
Cd26 for me. My last 2 OPKs havent come back as "invalid" but are still super low - 0.08 and 0.13. But the fact they are being picked up is great and moving in the right direction. Had a huge temp drop today, hoping maybe im one of these people who has a fast sharp LH rise and I actually ovulate so will keep with the OPK just in case.
If no ovulation appears then back to praying for AF. What a bloody rollacoster!

@MintGreenLife stay positive ❤❤ it isnt over yet. As you stay still early days. This has been a brilliant month for you ovulation wise so whatever happens this is a super positive cycle!
