Does anyone know what sensitivity a FRER Rapid Response test is? I can't find it anywhere on the packaging. I've just done one expecting it to be v faint, if there at all, as AF not due til tomorrow, but it's a good strong one and I'm interested to know what the HCG threshold is. Does anyone know?

Firstly congrats OP!
I'm sure it's less than 10 ml/u which is why you can get such a strong positive before you're due. I was the same got mine at 10-11dpo xx

Hi - thanks for the reply. I know that the Early Response is less that 10miu but I'm pretty sure the Rapid Response is a lot less sensitive and was hoping someone might know the actual threshold amount.

No idea, but congratulations! Goodluck with the pregnancy 💗

@GanderousGoose I think when I checked it was around 6.3 😊 xx

Mooey89 · 04/10/2020 12:47

Congratulations! I’m sure that the rapid response is 25mlu similar to CB? The early response is lower than 10mlu

GanderousGoose · 04/10/2020 12:47

@ScottishLassie91 no the 6.3 is the FR Early Response test. The FR Rapid Result test says not to use it until day of missed period and is apparently much less sensitive. FR do two different kinds of test - one for early testing which is 6.3 and one for a quick response. Anyway, I just found this website which might be helpful for others as well:

www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/brands.php

It says FR Rapid Result has a 100miu threshold and also found a review on Amazon where someone says they called the helpline who also said 100miu. So question answered - thanks for the congrats and help Smile.
