Please help me, I took a blue dye pregnancy test (Sainsburys brand) at 14 dpo which I lost my temper with & threw in the bin but when I checked again this morning (don’t ask me why!) it has a positive result with a pretty dark blue thin line. I’ve heard evap lines are only grey or clearish in colour but I took a clear blue first response test this afternoon 15 dpo & it’s a BFN! My period is normally due yesterday/today but no AF yet! I’m going crazy!!!!

Hi OP, if it's been left overnight, chances are its negative and it's an evap line. I've heard the sainsburys tests are notorious for giving false positives.
Could you try a FRER? They're more sensitive than CB so will likely show a positive if you are pregnant at this time.
Good luck xx

Blue dyes from supermarkets are awful and if it's thin I'd say it's an evap sorry. Really hope it's not for you.

@KayLeigh1010 no probs! It's a first response early response test. They are really sensitive 😊 xx

It is thin :-( thank you all for your help I’m going to leave it for now & try again in a few days if AF doesn’t arrive xxx
