What DPO were you when you noticed sore boobs/boob tenderness?

Hi all,

I know AF can cause boob tenderness etc but I’m just curious as to when those of you with BFP felt tenderness in your boobs.

I don’t often get sore boobs before AF but have done once or twice in the past, it just isn’t something that happens to me often.

We aren’t actively trying for a bubba but we also aren’t avoiding either. This month after O has been odd for me. I confirmed O with an ovulation test & think I O on the 23rd of September due to the positive ovulation test & noticeable O pains.

Since O I’ve had some odd symptoms.

2dpo- headache & hot.
3-4 dpo- back cramps (as if AF was coming. I rarely have belly cramps at AF it’s always in my back) these cramps were on & off for those two days.
5dpo- hot flushes & loose stool (TMI)
6dpo- creamy lotion like CM when going for a wee & an odd feeling in my belly.
7 dpo- on & off back cramps again.
8 dpo- on & off back cramps again. Then at night I woke for a wee and notice my boobs were tender on the sides near my arm pits. Mainly my smaller boob out of the two lol. Also had erect nipples even tho I wasn’t cold which was strange.
9 dpo- more on off cramps in my back & boobs a bit more sore.
Today 10 DPO- woke up to both boobs being noticeably sore/ feeling bruised and also TMI constipated.

So I am wondering seeing as implantation can happen from 6dpo onwards if my boobs starting to hurt later evening on 8DPO is a good sign or not.

I'm 5+2, my nipples have been a bit sore for 2 days but my boobs haven't been sore at all so don't panic if you do/don't have that as a symptom. I only had an amazing sense of smell, rotten indigestion, bloating and constipation before my bfp. I'd already tested at 10dpo, do you have better willpower than me! Good luck to you x

I didn't get sore boobs until about 16 days DPO. Didn't have any symptoms in the 2WW so you're always in with a chance x

They weren't any more sore than normal until the day before af was due or several days afterwards x

I'm 5+6. Zero symptoms in TWW. Burpy since week 4. Sore boobs only from 5+3

Thank you all so much. I’m now 13 dpo (CD35) boobs are still slightly tender but they have been changing in severity of tenderness each day. I’ve also had light af like cramping again today. My cycles can be a little irregular so I am unsure when AF is due. Last months cycle was 34 days. Looking at when I had my OPK I think I am due from Friday onwards. Figures crossed these light cramps in my back are from a little egg getting cosy and not from the witch coming my way. This month has been the strangest in terms of cramping on and off since O it’s not something I’ve ever experienced before. Congratulations to you all on your pregnancies I hope you have a happy & healthy nine months!

Hi Rainbow, sore BB are a staple part of my cycle and I can pretty much get them straight after ovulation to a few days before AF. I get sore to the point that I can't walk down stairs because the movement of my BB causes so much pain but that's just normal for me.
Last month, I also had constant one sided cramping since ovulation in side and back, went to see a gynae and there was nothing wrong with ovaries/uterus. Could have just been a pulled muscle. So in my case not a sign of pregnancy but you never know for you! I have my fingers crossed!

My boobs were agony about 7 DPO this month. That's usual for my cycle though so I assumed I wasn't pregnant and had a little cry. Got a BFP at 12 DPO! I'm now 4+6 and boobs are still very sore.

I get them from 1DPO all the way through to about 2/3 days before AF 🤷🏻‍♀️

It was a major symptom very early in my first pregnancy, before my period was late my breasts hurts and it radiated out to my underarms. Not so much with my second child or the pregnancy in between which was ectopic.

I should add that it was different to normal boob tenderness, which would normally for me be noticed when touched. This was an aching heaviness and tingling, much more noticeable

Actually just remembered that I did have soreness with the ectopic... but just one side! Turned out to be the side at which the ectopic pregnancy had embedded

Hi all thank you so much for your replies. I am not sure what happened with me this cycle. I had 2 faint positive test & then my period came a few days later. I don’t know if it was a chemical or an early miscarriage. All I know is my AF cramps have been the most intense I have ever felt before. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions. I am just hoping whatever it was it won’t cause any issues with my cycle so we can maybe get our little one next month.

I’ve had boob pain from 3dpo this time. Not normal for me.

I think this was a chemical or an early miscarriage. I’m still not pregnant but still trying. Sending lots of baby dust your way!

Has anyone had red implantation bleeding? I'm only 10/11 DPO and have had light period type pains on and off for 5 days, which I had before my BFP last time. I've just been to the loo and had bright red blood when I wiped. My luteal phase is usually 14 days so this seems early to be AF but as the blood is red I'm not sure never had any bleeding at all with my first pregnancy.

Post is 4 years old ! But the kinda BS I hate to read !!
