Feeling crap and confused..

Please tell me if I'm being insane 😔😂

So I had the faint but PINK start of a line in a FRER yes day afternoon, at 12DPO.
AF was due tomorrow, but I began bleeding lightly yesterday, and stopped last night so thought it could have been implantation bleeding, so went to bed with my fingers and toes crossed..🤞🏼

This morning, I wiped and the blood was back, it was red and had some clotting so I think it must be AF. I'm absolutely gutted and cannot for the life of me understand why I'd have had a faint pink line (or beginning of one) if there was no pregnancy hormone in the first place?? 😣

I'm completely open to the fact it could be an evap line.. but didn't think it possible on a red dye / FRER? Or is it just more uncommon??

Today I've had on and off cramping but nothing like AF usually is like.. and bleeding on and off through the day although it's dark red now, and just enough to need a tampon.

Personally I think I'm probably out this month. I don't want this post to make me sound crazy - I know it's most likely AF. I'm just feeling beyond gutted, heart broken and confused.

I will post a picture of the test i took, it isn't too clear on a photo but was clear and pink to the naked eye??

Hi OP. I had exactly this last month and wasn't pregnant. It was the weirdest thing - had negatives every day and then one evening, got these. An hour later, tested again and - negative. Can't explain it at all but it's so disheartening so I really sympathize. It does sound like AF but try again in a few days, just to be sure.

Thank you for commenting - I know I souls ridiculous it's just so disheartening.. I really thought this may have been it. I don't know what to think, I'm bleeding very heavily now again. I think sadly it's AF. So gutted 🥺😫

I'm sorry but I would guess you've had a chemical which causes the hCG hormone to increase enough for sensitive tests to show faint lines but then your pregnancy must have ended very soon after. A lot of the time a chemical bleed happens when your period is expected and a lot of people who haven't tested simply never know it happened.

@2020mission it's okay, thank you so much for replying. I think I might have had a chemical, too.
It's absolutely heartbreaking.. you see even the faintest line and begin to picture your future and how things might be.. seeing the blood just sends everything crashing back down.

I think it's certainly put me off of testing earlier than AF's expected date now, as I really don't want to go through this heartache again.. 😔

I even had this result on a Tesco one just Tuesday! I know they're notorious for evaps, but it's blue..

So heartbreaking 😖☹️

@confusedcoco absolutely it's happened to me twice too. Even a day of a positive faint line test just gets you falling in love with the idea and thinking about your future 💕 but you have to try and remember that it's not your fault and it is a good sign that sperm and egg met!

Yes that's true, it's a nice way to think of it.. in an otherwise crappy situation, at least I know it can happen 🤞🏼🙂 xx

Also wondering if the fact that this cycle was the first one following my nexplanon implant removal in August had anything to do with it? Now AF has started (which I think it has) this is my 2nd cycle I'm about to head into, following removal. Hoping for a better outcome this time around.

It's good to know I can become pregnant, just so horrible to go through this 🥺😖

Sounds like a chemical pregnancy. I’ve had a couple. Test positive, even with a clear blue digi with weeks indicator, then af starts a few days later.

It’s really crap, but I think a lot more common now that tests are able to pick up the hormone so early on.

Hugs. I hope it’s not that for you. Test again in a few days and see if the line progresses or fades.

It's heartbreaking - even though it's so early on you begin to come around to the idea that maybe this time, this is it! 👶😔

I'm bleeding super heavily and feeling quite light headed today so going to take it easy.. gosh this is so horrible 🥺 xx
