Hey all

I need some advice please, I am currently using the BBT method which I am finding great so far but as most of you know it only confirms ovulation. I want to use OPK's as Ive read it helps to predict when ovulation is about to happen, I want to help my chances of conceiving this month as much as i can :) but I havent used them before and dont know what time during the day is best to test, morning? Noon?

Can anyone shed some light on this and share their experience x thanks in advance

I read somewhere on here the LH hormone which the tests detect for surges does not develop overnight. If you are using stick opks I would test 3 times (morning, afternoon and evening) if you want to catch it.

I have managed to catch a positive on my opks for about 4 months but the clear blue digital test still give me a smiley face so might be worth using that around when you usually ovulate.

Thanks Chicca1990

Ive brought the OPKs sticks to test daily with as the clear blue looked fab but a bit pricey, ive spent a small fortune already lol but i might buy a few to use only on the days ive think ive ovulated :)

@Sandiesands the cheapy sticks worked brill for me. If you onow when you ovulate (say CD15) I would just take one around lunchtime on the 12, then 11am, 3pm and 7pm everyday until you get a peak. After a few cycles you get to know your body and I ended up just taking 1 a day. Ill attach a photo. Always good to use an app to read them. TIP read under the same light on a white sheet of paper for consistency, I loved the femometer app
