Completely obsessed and not in a good way

Hi, come and slap me about the chops or feed my obsession whichever you fancy.

Been trying now for over 2 years and completely hysterical atm. Have had period like cramps since Monday (period due on sunday/monday 28 day cycle). Could this be implantation or am i just building myself up for another huge slap in the face.

It is getting to the stage where i can't focus on work and make myself ill during the 2 week wait.

I already have a child and am v.v.v.v. grateful but am desperate for more.

Thanks

ps anyone who wants to tell me to relax or count my blessing please don't

Could be implantation, could be a late ov. You can't take a test yet coz it's too early...so you could just keep having sex? Are you a cervix checker? If it's low and hard then your period could be on it's way, if it's high and soft then there's another postive sign.

Feel free to pop over to the 2ww thread were all just as bad I think. The 2ww Symptom Spotting Continues...

Were very understanding and empathetic about symptom spotting and assosiated stresses. In fact its the second cycle that I've been on the thread and I stay on it all month whether in the 2ww or not just because all the ladies are so lovely and the support is brilliant.

thetryingistrying · 10/10/2007 16:12

I don't think it is ov as it has been going on for 3 days now.

Runs off to check cervix!

Thanks for support ladies.

High and soft (i think i always find it pretty difficult to assess)

High and soft sounds good. You'll definitely know when it's low and hard as it won't take long to find it.

Yes, feel free to join us on the symptom spotters thread. We are all totally obsessed (me especially!), I took a pregnancy test too early (yesterday) and got a negative - hasn't stopped me from continuing to believe every twinge and sensation is a pregnancy symptom and posting them up on the thread!

pixie04 · 10/10/2007 16:40

I have to confess that even though AF arrived today it is very light and I am secretly hoping that in may just be spotting

see we all get a bit nuts when ttc its okay

thetryingistrying · 10/10/2007 17:13

pixie, it didn't even occur to question my period until i started obsessing on the internet. sigh.

hmmm obsessing on the internet is a bad thing. Google should be banned I find out all sort of terrible things I wish I hadn't and now I obsess over every twinge, knicker stain and mood swing.

Its okay though we all understand on here how stressfull it can be and how much we all want it.

I've ordered a book off amaon thats supposed to be very good its called "taking charge of your fertility" apparently its all about checking your cervix, temping and charting and has lots of useful information about how your hormones work during your cycle ect.

hi anniemac, i think i completely lost it round the 10 month mark. it is head f*ck whatever stage you are at.

i have had all the tests and appear to be fine. dh's sperm is not fantastic but there appear to be enough just about swimming in the right direction to maintain hope.

i wish i wasn't such an obsessive. i saw you on the ttc after xmas thread and i so know where you are coming from.

i have lurked on the hut of gloom but it just made me feel worse. i am really trying hard not to become bitter about other peoples babies. i think things are coming to head because i know my sister is ttc and is probably about to announce that she is pregnant so i have to practise my happy face. i will be happy for her but it will be hard esp. as she will probably want to borrow all the stuff i have been keeping for no.2.

i know what you mean about feeling like a bad person. i also feel strangely inadequate when i visit all the woman i met when i had dd and they are all sitting round with no. 2.

have i done a test? have i done 3?

yes and all negative, surprise surprise. i have been overdoing it on the exercise front so cramping is probably to do with that.

lilibet google cervix position adn conception adn you will get loads of info.
