So I'm trying to convince and sadly in February miscarried my first ever pregnancy. We've been trying ever since and I'm currently due my period in 4 days but have been feeling abit off so couldn't resist testing early (I know I really shouldn't) I used a blue dye test and I know they aren't the most reliable but it was all I had. And there's a line, it's fairly faint but definitely there! So I went out to get a pink dye test unfortunately couldn't get a first response. When I took that it's negative, not even a tiny faint line? I'm so confused, is it a false positive on the first or did I not leave it long enough to do the next test? I really did rush myself to the toilet because I was just desperate to know!

It's so frustrating when it's something you want so much! To top things off now my partner is saying he can't even see a line on the blue dye one?! Feel like I'm going crazy

@Jade97 I can definitely see a line on the blue one. Is it a Tesco one..??
I have had three nasty evaporation lines from Tesco ones, but hope this is the start of your BFP!!!

Here's mine from this morning - clear blue. Do you see anything? 🤔🤞🏼

@Jade97 I can see the line on the blue one but not the pink, you could get some ic and keep re testing daily.

Yeah it is I know they are rubbish! I did have an evap on one before but then did have positives the first time I fell pregnant and when I compared them the pictures did look different so I've got my fingers crossed! And yes! I feel like I can see a faint line! Fingers crossed for you xx

@Jade97 I can definitely see a faint line on the blue dye. It could be that you've went to the toilet too soon before taking the second one, if you're still quite early then FMU is best.
I would order a FRER off Amazon and take it in a couple days with FMU, hopefully will be darker for you then!🤞

@Jade97 it really is, we were trying for 2 years this month and after a MC in March I finally got my BFP a few weeks ago, had an early scan yesterday and seen the heartbeat! Still not out the woods yet as only 6 weeks but it does make all the suffering worth it!

You'll get there, fingers crossed this is your month. As I say, try give it a couple days and then try again with a FR🥰

calimommy · 29/09/2020 23:33

Well the red dye is definitely negative and although there is a shadow on the blue dye one it's not a line as such either. So either it's just too early -quite possible, or it's not the month for you. Fingers crossed it is the former.

Well another negative this morning with first morning urine so feeling very deflated! Will just have to see if AF arrives on Saturday
