How long did it take you to conceive?

I'm 32, I have been TTC since July, I had a chemical in August and today AF arrived and feeling really gutted.

Out of curiosity, how long did you take to take to conceive, and how old were/are you?

I'm feeling as if my age is going to be a problem here

4th cycle off pill at 29 (currently 12weeks pregnant)

We've been trying since last September so a year now but I've had two miscarriages this year one in February and one in June I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant again now 🤞🏼

Hi guys. I’ve just finished my final pill and waiting for AF to finish in the next few days then we’ll be TTC! I’m 30 and have been on the pill for approx 12 years so no idea what my cycles will be like x

5 years. Had dc at 32. Had a miscarriage 4 years later.

Cycle 14 for us. Had all the tests done no issues at all with either of us. It is really just luck of the draw if no issues. I'd say be prepared that it may take a year and try not to worry i drove my self insane. X

On cycle 8 of ttc, 29, healthy bmi, don't smoke etc. etc. but no luck so far : (

Was on pill for 15 years without any issues but cycles came back regular (albeit on the short side) straight away after stopping.

I'm still going. Am on cycle 4 now but have been actively trying for 5 months. I seem to be all kinds of messed up since stoping the pill - irregular cycles, not even clear if I'm ovulating despite charting BBT. I'm 31, normal BMI of 21, no health issues apart from I have IBS, DH is 29.

First try at 29, first try at 33.. I was Taken by surprise both times as very long Irregular cycles And thought we might encounter difficulties. no hormonal contraception for years prior to either. think at 32 years old, age shouldn't be a concern just yet.

First time it took 18 months; I was 33
Second time it took 2 months; at 38

No contraception for 1 year but not actively trying, then TTC for 3 months before conceiving.

Also, I am 26.

I'm 31 and got pregnant twice in 6 months. I was pregnant the first time after 3 months but had a miscarriage then I fell pregnant shortly after. I'm now 30 weeks. I think they say you are more fertile after a chemical/miscarriage which in our case seemed to be true 💕

Thank you everyone and all the love goes out to everyone who are still not there yet and I'm sorry if I sounded insensitive saying I've only been trying for 3 months, it really wasn't my intention, just curious how and when other ladies conceived. 32 and it took about 6 weeks! It was so quick (I have PCOS) that I actually didn't even realize I was pregnant until I was 7 weeks gone.

I was one of the youngest of my friends to have a baby, so I wouldn't worry about your age.

18 cycles and eventually IVF due to fertility issues. 6 weeks now after fresh transfer so fingers crossed it sticks 🤞

First attempt age 38 using a period tracking app and ovulation sticks, I had my game face on! I know we were very lucky.

Started trying at 26 - fell pregnant after 4 years of trying

Started trying at 31, fell pregnant within first month of trying

Started trying at 34, fell pregnant within first month of trying

3 months age 30 DC1
4 months age 33 DC2
Just conceived 2 month trying at 39 for DC3.

Are you using Conceive Plus or pre-seed?

39 - got pregnant on 5th month of trying after coming off the combined pill. I used LH strips to chart ovulation.

8 months at 29, miscarriage

Conceived straight after the miscarriage at age 29 JUST 😂 literally conceived days before my birthday.

I think you just need to accept it may well take some time and don't put so much pressure on yourself each month, that's what will be a problem for you. If it happens quick then amazing of course xx
