Postponed wedding.. postpone TTC?

I wasn't sure whether to post this is TTC or the weddings thread, so please feel free to move this if anyone thinks it would be better in the wedding thread!
I was due to get married in May. The plan was always to stop the pill after the wedding. I'm 32 with a 3 year old. Obviously that got cancelled, moved to October, got cancelled again!
Now rebooked for August next year. I don't know what to do as I don't really want to wait another year almost to start TTC, but then again what are the chances I end up pregnant for the wedding!
I don't know what to do for the best. I took 4 months to conceive my son, but I was younger and a lot more energetic then!
What should I do?

I’m in exactly the same situation. We were having a very small wedding but abroad to a country we’d have to quarantine from (just added to the list with 5 weeks to go!)

I’m 34 and don’t know what to do for the best really, I don’t know when we’ll be able to get married but I don’t really want to put off ttc. I think we’re going to stop preventing it but not actively try. My DM go mad if I don’t fit in my dress (her very generous contribution) when the time comes though!

I wish I could be more help but just wanted you to know you’re not alone.

Can you have a tiny legal wedding now, then TTC knowing you have made that commitment? You have a celebration next summer still...

@MinesAPintOfTea We thought about doing that but DP's parent's live abroad and they aren't sure if they'll be able to get over. They are the only people other than myself that he really wants there. So its there fault if their second grandchild is delayed! Haha.

I second the small legal ceremony now and a larger wedding later. It seems daft to wait if you want your children to be closer in age. But I agree a commitment before ttc would be better.
