Why would my test look like this?

I know I shouldn’t be testing as I’m over 6 weeks I’m just obsessed after two chemicals

Today I’ve had this, any idea why? Xx

I've seen things on here about the "hook effect" I think it's something to do with the hcg levels being too high for a test (seems odd), I think you dilute your urine with water and apparently that gives a darker line. Please don't take my word for this, maybe Google it, I just didn't want to read and run. Hope you get your reassurance x

Is the bit you dip on the left or right? If it's the left then I imagine the test line is so strong it's stolen all the dye from the control line

The test line is so strong it’s taken all the dye from the control line. This is a good thing!

Depends which side is the test and which is the control.

Ahh I didn't realise it was the control line, yeah thats a good sign. Only the test line is detecting hcg and it's that strong its taken all the dye. That's very reassuring

A crazy ass dye stealer at 6 weeks? Do twins run in your family?

If your only 6 weeks I'm guessing twins, sorry to hear you lost twins previously x

If the dip part is on the right then it's the control line that is strong, surely?
