PRE-SEED success stories?

It's our first month TTC using pre-seed and I would be really interested to see how others have got on using pre-seed fertility lubricant!

We used it around the ovulation date each time we DTD, and I'm currently 10DPO although I've had a BFN test this morning. I'm praying that it's just a little too early and perhaps I ovulated slightly later?

Anybody ever had any success using pre-seed? I figured for £19 I may as well give it a go 😂🤷‍♀️

Hi, me and my partner were using pre-seed for a couple of months while TTC naturally and unfortunately it didn’t work for us, it dried out pretty quickly and it didn’t feel the same either with DTD, it was quite upsetting to see a BFN every month and being a couple days late on my period aswell also didn’t help as it got my hopes up, I hope it’s not the same for you and I wish you all the best x

@Macbookbaby that's a shame, how frustrating! I can see how that would be easily upsetting and heartbreaking.

I've looked at the amazon reviews and it's almost all positive reviews which is strange, it looks like it works for some though and not others. I've not really given it much time but we'll see what happens! Xx

I used pre-seed for the first time this month (cycle 4) after being recommended it by a friend who got her BFP the first month she tried it.

I also started taking vitamins this month including b6 for a short luteal phase but I got a BFP yesterday at 10dpo! Obviously it might just be a coincidence and there's no guarantee it will stick but got my fingers and toes crossed!

We used it and conceived on the first try. It's horrible and fiddly to use though!

Not preseed but we used conceive plus lube for both kids as we usually used lube and I'd heard that normal lube could have a negative effect on trying to conceive. The first month of trying with it I got pregnant with DC1 and we used it for DC2 as well. I don't know if it made a difference but it felt like regular lube so was happy to try it. Good luck with ttc!

I used preseed for 2 cycles. The first cycle was stingy. The second cycle was liberal and conceived. 4 unsuccessful cycles before adding preseed.

At the risk of sounding stupid, do you only use this if you’d usually use lube? Or can it be used regardless?

I got PG twice using it!

First month I had a MC unfortunately. Started trying again and decided one month to try it again as I'd forgotten about it (but didn't use as much this time, just used the applicator before DTD) and now 8+5!

Worked for me! Conceived first try

So just tested - I know it's probably too early and shouldn't have done so in the evening - but got a BFN 😳😟

10DPO.. is there still a chance?!

I never got a bfp until I was officially late for mine, 2 days late for one and 7 days late for the other. You're definitely not out, I hope it turns into a lovely Bfp for you!

You're not out until AF arrives. Test again in a day or two

I read somewhere, don't remember where though, that sperm-friendly lubricants do not hinder sperm motility like water or gel based ones, but they don't help either. So basically if you have to use a lubricant, use something like Preseed or Conceive+, but they won't increase your chances at conception, they just won't decrease them. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Having said that, I'll try anything, currently TTC cycle 2 and I'm eyeing a tube of Conceive+ on Amazon…

Got my BFP 3 weeks ago... first cycle using preseed but 5th cycle TTC! Didn’t do anything else differently x

Hello I’m new to this but I’m currently trying to get pregnant it’s been a long year without my iud and I recently found out I have PCOS:( I tracked my ovulation due to my irregular periods and used pre seed lubricant before my peak window and on the day of peak now waiting for a missed period wish me luck!
