Irregular period after stopping the pill

Hi everyone, wondered if anyone has experienced a similar thing. Before trying to conceive my daughter a few years ago I came off the mini pill cerazette. This stopped my periods and for years I didn't have one. I remember my periods coming back regularly almost straight away. Usually cycle length 30 to 33 days. Since having my daughter 2 years ago I opted for rigevidon because I liked the idea of having a week's break to keep my periods regular for baby no 2.the opposite is happening. I came off my pill end of June. Had a withdrawal bleed like usual. Then 8 weeks until first natural period. Now I'm sitting on day 37 waiting on second period. (no sign) I just wish it would hurry up to start trying properly. Ironically this pill is messing me up more than the one I took for ten years. Anyone have any advice. Thanks x

Kay00 thank you.
Would you believe I took my last pregnancy test when I came in from work today (in a bad mood about the whole thing) it was positive Smile totally unexpected. I took it so I wouldn't have to look at it for another month. Hopefully it stays that way.
Thank you. Hope all is good for you.

@Century123 you had a similar arc to me! Came off Rigevidon, 141 days no AF, then AF, then on cycle day 47 of cycle 2 decided to test and it was positive! Congratulations!

@Century123 ooh!! Congratulations!!

Thank you @TheDaydreamBelievers congratulations to you too. That's exactly like me. I really didn't expect the positive after 2 negatives last week. I was totally in the huff. Now the mystery of how pregnant I am begins. Absolutley no idea when ovulation wasSmile hope all is good with you

I'm good thanks @Century123. About 5 weeks pregnant so early days. I knew the ovulation date. NHS is ofc insisting on dating by my last period so I'm getting scanned at about 10 weeks rather than 12! So far not getting many symptoms apart from tired and burpy!
