Cycle day 17, ovulation test showing no LH surge. Should I see GP?

It is my first month TTC, I'm 27 and need to lose a stone to be in the healthy BMI.
I'm on CD17 and still showing no ovulation! I'm really concerned as my Period tracker says I should be ovulating any time now and I'm fertile now. Does this mean I'm not ovulating?

@ink29 Ovulation up to CD21 is considered 'normal' plus it's also normal to have the odd anovulatory cycle here and there. Your fertile window is around 5 days long, so could very well be fertile now but maybe you ovulate slightly later. A normal luteal phase can be anything from 10-16 days, so could be that you just ovulate slightly later in your cycle and have more like a 10-12 day luteal phase, rather than what the app will assume which is 14 days. The best way to confirm ovulation is by charting your BBT x

How are you tracking ovulation?

I've never had a "positive" OPK. Don't bother with gp as they will want you to wait a year unless you have other symptoms which indicate PCOS?

As it's your first month this may well be normal for you to ovulate later. How long are your cycles?

I did another OPK test just now and got a positive!!
