Ladies,
Please can I have your opinions on what is better. Clear Blue Ovulation detector strips or just the cheap ones from Amazon?

I bought the cheap ones and never had a strong positive saying I was ovulating. I work shifts and feel I have been missing my peak every time because I cant really test when I am at work.
I'm tempted to buy the Clear Blue ones but not sure if you have to take multiple tests during a day until you get a peak or if they are more sensitive.
I have some time off work coming up soon and wondering if I should buy the Clear Blue instead?

Advice welcome Smile

I used to swear by the clearblue digital tests as found them easy to use and the dual
Hormone one gives you plenty of notice of an impending peak and more days to TTC on

But when I started IVF my clinic wouldn't let me use them so I had to swap to the cheap test strips - I was really sceptical at first but actually loved them and wondered why I wasted so much money on clearblue

Download an app like Premom and use it to take a photo of the test strip and it tells you whether is low/peak/high so exactly same job as clearblue. With them being so cheap I would test multiple times a day to narrow now when my LH surge was starting

I vote cheepie ovulation test. Can't agree more with @ivfbeenbusy.

I use easy@home ovulation tests and upload them to the premom app. It can save all tests and decipher the results automatically. This test strips are affordable so I would start test right after the AF ends and test all the way through the cycle.

I don't think night shift will affect the test results. You should try test around the same time every day, when the test line gets darker, test twice. It is really important to test every day besides the period, so you wouldn't miss the LH peak.
