Detail pregnancy test...

Okay really random! Just wondering if anyone has done this test and if it actually works! My friend and I are torn, I can't see how it works but she's convinced it does 🤣 Are there any mums to be that are willing to do it for us to see if it does work? Apparently you have to pour 3 tablespoons of your first urine of the day into one tablespoon of dettol, leave for 5-7 minutes and if it separates then you're pregnant!

This sounds like a recipe for disaster! Just use a test.

I don't see the harm in asking mums to be who already know they're pregnant. We don't know if we are yet and will be using tests, it's just a post to see if anyone has tried it before and whether it works 🤷🏼‍♀️

I would give it a go but I don't have any dettol 🧐 isn't there one with bicarbonate? I definitely read that somewhere.

Okay so apparently you need a tablespoon of bicarb of soda, mix into first urine of the day. If it fizzes or bubbles then you're pregnant!

@SparklePrincesss I think adding Bicarb to anything liquid would make it fizz or bubble :-)

Funnily enough i did mix my wee with bi carb a couple of weeks back 😂 not to test If pregnant but to test the old wives tale of if it fizzes it's a boy if it doesn't it's a girl. It didn't fizz & im 25 weeks

No I had bicarbonate! It fizzed and then it stopped pretty quick.
I'm 13 weeks for reference!
