IC BFP, FRER BFN?!

I have no idea when I ovulated as I have very long and irregular periods, currently on CD72, however I took an IC midstream which came up faintly positive but a FRER was negative with the same urine?! Wtf

So confusing. I took the same test yesterday which was completely negative but today it's a faint BFP, I'll keep checking to see if it gets darker as I won't believe anything quite yet

I definitely see a line there although it looks as though it may be colourless, possibly an evap line maybe? Personally I would trust the FRER. Try again in 2 days with FMU. Wee in to a tub and then dip it in, I always find that easier and more reliable.

I’ve never seen an evap line that dark so fingers crossed it’s a BFP

same line showed up again and was pink within 2 minutes, but the clear blue early detection thats meant to be 10miu aswell is negative so strange

I would give it a few days let the hcg build up then if you are it should show clearly

I tested positive on these tests before clear blue.
Mine looked just like this 6 days before my period was even due.
Baby is 6 months old now ☺️

I had so many false positives on these awful tests, I wasn’t pregnant... It caused me so much heartache and uncertainty. I really hope this isn’t the case for you xxx

Cheapie strip was negative this morning so definitely a false positive! Currently on cycle day 75, had a private gp consult this morning who is going to write to my own gp to insist I get investigated for PCOS, she wants me to get a full hormone panel done and a scan so I'm hoping I can get the ball rolling with that 🤞🏼
