Vivid dreams..

Has anybody ever experienced vivid dreams during the TWW..?!

I dreamt my DP was giving birth in our bedroom..?! My sister and her partner were also there and cheering him on 😂😳 after a long labour he birthed a tampon 😂😂😂 which then bounced off the bed and turned into a full grown baby! I helped him deliver the 'placenta' whilst my sister called around the family to tell them of the news..

What the hell!! 😂😂😂

I'd love to hear if anybody else has had similar?! Does it mean anything..??

I'm 6DPO and this is the first vivid dream I've had.

Hope if anything this gave you a bit of a giggle - I woke up in such a panic this morning 😂😆

This did give me a laugh! But yes. I had vivid and weird dreams when I was pregnant the first time. I’m 9 DPO and have been having very odd and scary dreams this week!

premum1 · 24/09/2020 16:05

@Sarah3956 honestly I felt so silly whilst writing this! I'm currently at work and honestly it's been on my mind ALL day! I usually wake up and can't remember my dreams but this was a really odd one. I'm so glad I remembered it when I woke up! DP nearly spat his coffee out this morning when I told him! 😂😂

Xx

Hormones can do crazy things. Ahh, just another reason for our men to think we are crazy Wink

Sarah3956 · 24/09/2020 16:10

@premum1 have you had any other symptoms besides?

premum1 · 24/09/2020 16:13

@Sarah3956 I know I think he thinks I've lost the plot! 🤯

I've had some shooting pains, and lower abdominal pains from 1-5DPO but today nothing really at all.
I do feel ever so slightly light headed but not sure what to make of it, it's almost barely there.

My nipples are rock solid and sensitive, a little sore but not super uncomfortable so I really don't know. 😟🤷‍♀️

I'm trying to stay positive but it's so hard when all of your 'symptoms' are gone!

Have you had anything? X x

I’m 10dpo and having the weirdest dreams! Yesterday I dreamed my DH had come home with my DS, and started to cook pizza! I could actually smell the pizza cooking. I got up, looked for them and was most confused when I found them in bed (it being nighttime!)

I guess i will find out soon if it’s my month or I’m just going crazy!!

Good luck!!

premum1 · 24/09/2020 16:13

Oh! And I've got a stuffy nose in the mornings, a little runny and blocked but nothing major, I'm also getting slightly sore throats too. Don't know if that's anything to note or not! Xx

HerringGull · 24/09/2020 16:13

I had this with my first pregnancy too. I occasionally get a vivid dream anyway, but these were every single night from maybe 7DPO onwards (can't remember exactly). It's progesterone apparently, so it could just happen before your period too I guess. It never normally does for me every single night though.
Don't think mine were as crazy as yours though!! Grin

premum1 · 24/09/2020 16:14

@HerringGull ohh interesting - thank you!
I will keep an eye and see what other weird dreams I have the coming nights, if any! 😆

Honestly it was so weird.. I hope this is a sign for me! Xx

OP posts:
HerringGull · 24/09/2020 16:19

@premum1 I hope so too! Fingers crossed for you! Think I did get a stuffy nose last time too, but I guess that one could definitely be a coincidence lol

I'm 9DPO at the moment :) Going to try to hold out until I'm late before testing though - messes with my mind too much x

Sarah3956 · 24/09/2020 16:21

Hey, atleast there are others like us! I feel much less crazy after coming onto these chats. Women get it. Wanting a baby really gets to your head and I’m a crazy symptom spotter! I think those symptoms are good signs! Especially the stuffy nose and sore throat. I started having to blow my nose every morning when I was pregnant with my 1st. Something to do with increased blood flow and hormones. Don’t be discouraged, because symptoms come and go. They don’t have to be constant Smile I’ve had symptoms since like 2 DPO and I’m confused how so many women start having such early symptoms? When they say you can only have implantation 6-12 days after. “9” being the norm. I’ve had symptoms before my period before but never this early, never right after ovulation. Fingers crossed for us!!

HerringGull · 24/09/2020 16:27

Yeah I don't know how that works but I guess science doesn't know everything 😁
Fingers crossed this month is our month x

premum1 · 24/09/2020 16:29

@HerringGull ahh amazing that's given me a little bit of hope! I'm so excited but trying not to think too much into anything. Sitting here at work at the moment having very slight twinges in my lower stomach.. trying not to think too much of it though 😂🤷‍♀️ xx

@Sarah3956 yes we aren't the only ones! 😅🥰

I never understand how people can find the TWW so different! It's so hard to know.

I'm really hoping this is our time. 👶 ✨

Sarah3956 · 24/09/2020 16:30

@HerringGull

Maybe they aren’t always right Wink I’m 9DPO as well, but I was silly and took a test this morning. I have 30 + day cycles though, so my period is still 7 ish days out

premum1 · 24/09/2020 16:31

@Crazycatlady83 ohh sounds similar to me, I woke up so confused and a bit concerned for DP 😂😂😂

He was snoring away as per usual next to me.

I've also found that I've been waking up at random times in the night, I don't know why and just fall asleep again after, but it's weird!

premum1 · 24/09/2020 16:33

I've got another 8 days until AF is due for me, although this is my first cycle TTC following my implant removal early August this year, I had that for 6 years (had two implants put in in total) so I was so happy and surprised to see AF 4 weeks to the day after removal!
I ovulated a little later on cycle day 18 but again, was so chuffed to see that I'd ovulated woohoo! 🥳

I was so concerned it could take a while for me! Xx

I mostly bought a large handful of tests so that I could watch the lines slowly get darker each day, if there was something! I’m excited to see how this progresses for everyone Grin

Sarah3956 · 24/09/2020 16:34

@premum1

Glad to see your body got back into the swing of things rather quickly!

premum1 · 24/09/2020 16:36

@Sarah3956 oh yes it'll be lovely to have some tests to look back on and see the line progression, good idea! 💭

I'm glad that I bounced back to normal, I was so worried!

My family all fell pregnant the same month that they TTC, so I'm hopeful! Xx

OP posts:
HerringGull · 24/09/2020 16:38

@Sarah3956 it's still really early, pretty sure you're still in the running! 😉

Rigamorph · 24/09/2020 16:44

I have had some crazy vivid dreams throughout the whole of pregnancy (now 3rd trimester) and also some weird coincidences (like I woke up thinking of an old song, then watched a movie that day that had that song as the theme tune) and other things.

Good luck OP!

Sarah3956 · 24/09/2020 16:44

@premum1

Same here. My first was unplanned and the first time I was not careful, I got knocked up. He’s the light of my life though! My family is very fertile as well. It never took much to get my mom pregnant Shock just don’t hold yourself to a stressful standard though, in comparison to your family!

premum1 · 24/09/2020 16:55

@Rigamorph spooky! 😟 I love things like that! I often have dreams that turn into something I see in everyday life the next day, it's weird!

But usually I don't have dreams quite so odd or vivid as the one I had last night 😂😳 xx

Chlo2701 · 24/09/2020 17:40

@premum1 I just had to jump on this! That dream is brilliant 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you certainly gave me a laugh hun!!
