Hi all. I have recently gone back on the pill, about a week ago, and started mid cycle. I have a 27 day cycle. I had unprotected sex last night on day 22 of my cycle. Mostly pulled out but I know that means nothing! I am not trying to conceive. Do you think its worth trying to find emergency contraception? I know no one can know for sure but just trying to get an idea!

Most pills are effective after 7 days of taking them. Check your pills instructions. You may well be covered depending on exactly how long ago you started taking them

Thanks, I will see what I can find. I can't find the package leaflet but 7 days seems to be the information online, I think it's been 6 or 7 🤞

Day 22 should be well after your ovulation date also, so pretty low risk I would have thought

Thanks, that's sort of what I was hoping, but have never really thought of fertile windows as a possibility
