I know I shouldn’t be worrying yet- but if anyone can reassure me that would be good!

I just came off the pill and I’m just tracking my ovulation more out of curiosity to see how my cycle works as I’ve never paid attention to anything before!

I’m on my 9th flashy face of clear blue and cycle day 18. Is it normal to ovulate this late (since I haven’t yet) and is it possible to never get the static face?! I did notice some EWCM yesterday but I just feel like i will have the flashing face forever

Your hormones might still be all over the place. The clearblue digital requires you to use first morning urine.

I usually DTD every other day whilst waiting for the 'solid smiley' to show up. It gives me a piece of mind in case I miss the surge im still covered.

Is this your first cycle off the pill @Sperr ? Ovulation on or around CD18 isn't late by the way, ovulation is only considered late if past CD21, and even so that's not necessarily an issue. I'm 6 months off the pill and still having cycle issues. I've only had one cycle where I can confirm I ovulated, which happened around CD40! You can still fall pregnant with a late ovulation, but obviously it makes timing trickier x

@Monday55 thanks for your reply. We are DTD every other day at the moment so hopefully all covered! I think I just need some patience instead of panicking there is something wrong.

@MintGreenLife first month off! I wasn’t on it for very long I think around 7/8 months so hopefully. I have stopped the pill before (it just doesn’t agree with me. It just messes up my mind) and my cycles returned to normal straight away.
