Yesterday morning I got my peak solid smiley with a negative test done the day before and I did another test yesterday evening and it had dropped back to negative. We BD'd last night and two nights ago before that. Am I covered? Also can a peak surge come and go that quickly? I never got the flashing smiley to indicate a high LH, just from low straight to peak within 24 hours.

Personally I'd do it tonight and tomorrow also as a peak result means you'll ovulate within 12-48 hours time so you may only ovulate tonight or early tomorrow morning Smile

@Readytoconcieve I'm very new to OPKs and only used a few this cycle but my peak came and went incredibly quickly! I didn't use clear blue but the photos below show the peak.

Photo 1 was taken on Thursday (very negative!). Then 1 & 2 in Photo 2 were taken on Friday (afternoon & evening - my peak and very positive!) and 3 in Photo 2 was taken on Saturday (back to negative!)

So my peak came and went very suddenly! Not sure how that would match up with a clear blue test but hopefully this helps slightly! I would say you're covered by the amount you had DTD!
